Slam Wrestling is featuring an interview with WWE star Dolph Ziggler. Here are some of the highlights.
On being dropped from Team Smackdown at Bragging Rights:
“Either way, I’m going to be at the pay-per-view at Bragging Rights, because it’s something all the brands are involved in. One way or another, I’m going to try and get in there, and make my presence felt.”
On Shane McMahon’s resignation from WWE:
“It was a shock to most of us. He’s [Shane] been a really great guy all the times I came in contact with him. An awesome guy. He was always trying to go above and beyond for our product, so I’m sure whatever he’s moving on to, he’s going to be great at it and blow it out for the water.”
On the passing of Captain Lou Albano:
“One of the first memories I’ve had of MTV was watching the old wrestling cartoon [Hulk Hogan’s Rock ‘n’ Wrestling]. I remember Captain Lou Albano being in the music video with Cyndi Lauper. He was loved by everybody and no one’s ever said a bad thing about that guy.”
Thisisnottingham.co.uk has an interview up with WWE star Ted DiBiase. Here are some of the highlights.
On Randy Orton:
“Right now he’s one of the best in the business, and he’s someone who I look up to and respect.”
On Legacy working with DX:
“Shawn Michaels and Triple H are legends in this business and I think everyone would like to be as successful as they are. I was a big fan of Shawn growing up and it was a great opportunity for Cody and I to get the chance to prove to everyone that we can compete with DX.”
On the pressure of being the son of Ted DiBiase Sr.:
“I have been under some more pressure because of how great my father was. Everyone has high expectations of me because of him and I’m going to do my best to live up to my family name. Becoming a wrestler is something I always wanted to do and I made that dream come true. But my father did make sure that I graduated college before I pursued my wrestling career. So I do have that degree to fall back on.”
