— Tickets went on sale for EVOLVE’S September 21st and 22nd shows in Queens and Brooklyn respectively. The show will be a Style Battle tournament and there will also be what’s being described as a “Young Bucks Tag Team Invitational.” Booked so far are AR Fox, Johnny Gargano, Ricochet, Trent Baretta and Anthony Nese. Josh Alexander, Andrew Everett and Biff Busick are all set for the Styles Battle tournament, which will see wrestlers with different styles facing each other.
— TNA Knockout Velvet Sky was in fact at the TNA iMPACT! Wrestling television taping in Norfolk, Virginia on Thursday. For whatever reason, despite being advertised, Sky was not used during the event.
— As noted, HBO Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel will run a feature that covers Diamond Dallas Page and his work with Jake “The Snake” Roberts and Scott Hall at 9pm on Tuesday night. The replay schedule for the show is as follows:
