UPDATE: SLAM! Wrestling has more details on our previous story about a death threat made to former WWE Superstar Jacques Rougeau.
According to the SLAM! article, on Thursday afternoon, someone showed up at one of the properties owned by his father, Jacques Rougeau Sr., and brother, Raymond Rougeau. When the tenant, whose name was not mentioned, answered the door, he faced a man described as having brown hair and standing 5-foot-8 with a 3/4-coat. The man asked the tenant if Rougeau was there. The tenant said no. The man then asked if he knew where Rougeau lived. The tenant again said no. After that, the suspect allegedly opened his coat, just enough so the tenant could see his 12mm gun, and told him to tell Rougeau that he was looking for him.
After the suspect left, the tenant called his landlord, who called Raymond, and the father patriarch called Rougeau Jr. to let him know what was going on.
The first thing Rougeau did was put the incident on his official Facebook page. “I have more than 5,000 friends on Facebook and have a very good relationship with them,” said Rougeau on Friday morning during an interview with 98.5FM, the largest radio station in the Montreal market.
After he put the post on Facebook, many of his friends told him to call 9-1-1, which he did. “The police told me not to sleep at my house, so I went to the movies with my son and my girlfriend,” said Rougeau.
While the 83-year-old Rougeau Sr. did not want to file an official complaint, the younger Rougeau met with the provincial police anyways, and an investigation has begun.
“I have no enemies. I’m involved in non-violence stuff, it sure has no link to that,” Rougeau explained. “And I know I was a bad guy for some time in wrestling, but I can’t see it being the reason.” Rougeau concluded, “He [the suspect] went to 12th avenue and I’m staying on 18th avenue. Everybody knows where I live in Rawdon [a province in Quebec], I don’t understand why he showed his gun if he really wants to kill me. I don’t know if the police will be able to find him. Do you know how many guys fit that description?”

Rougeau continued, “I can tell you that I have not had a very good night.”
Following the official complaint, police have opened an investigation regarding the matter.
