Daniel Bryan comes out to start the show with a one on one match. He grab a microphone and addresses the fans.

Bryan: Before we start my match, i’d just like to say there are some people who have accused me of having some sort of “complex.” I know, right? Some people say that I am a walking example of the little man syndrome. I’ve been hearing it for years. “You’re a wrestler? Really? No seriously what do you do? Hey, were you an extra in The Hobbit?” I was not an extra in The Hobbit. But whether it was teaming with Kane, or on NXT, someone always called me the “weak link.” Well those people…those people are morons! Because I have fought toe to toe with Randy Orton not one, but twice! And the true weak link, when having won by count out, would have taken it. But that is not me. I will not be satisfied until I pin Randy Orton or make him tap out in the middle of this ring. Will I do that tonight? YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!

His opponent, Randy Orton, comes out next. Orton enters the ring and goes face to face with Bryan.

Big E. Langston comes out holding a bouquet of flowers.

AJ: OMG. Big E? It’s you!?

Langston: Yes, Kaitlyn! It was me all along. YOU…ARE…THE ONE!

Up next, WWE Champion John Cena responds to Mark Henry’s attack.

[Commercial]

John Cena comes out and heads to the ring to address the WWE Universe

Cena: What a lively bunch we have here tonight. Members of the WWE Universe that know the WWE obviously know that this is the WWE champion. Tens of thousands of men have tried to chase this dream, but only 43 men have ever held onto this. And whether you’ve held it for 8 years like Bruno Sammartino or for 4 days like Rey Mysterio, being WWE champion earns the respect of your peers. For many years champions have done nasty things to held onto this championship. Men have tried to buy this, to steal this. I have seen people with my own eyes crack under of the pressure of the WWE Universe to chase this. Hell, even Vince McMahon himself thought he needed to be champion to justify his existence. And last week we saw just how low a man will sink for this. Last week chasing this Mark Henry disgraced his family. He cheated the WWE Universe. Quite frankly, I thought his speech was an utter disaster to everyone who had to stand here and have the conversation that they could never do this again. Names like Edge. Names like HBK. And names like “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair. very very important moments in WWE history and last week Mark Henry made a mockery of all of them.

Henry has been here for 17 years and he’s the World’s Strongest Man, but he may think his time is running out. And he won’t legitimize his career until he’s held this. In order to do that he has to get through me. Let me introduce myself. My name is John Cena, and I am the WWE Champion. Mark Henry the best part of the speech was when you handed me the title and said “you have to earn this.” The only thing you’ve earned the right to is me knocking your teeth down your throat. You have sunk to the lowest of lows, but you forgot one thing. You forgot to check your calender. We’re in whoop ass season, and at Money in the Bank you’re going to find out what everybody else knows. Our time is now…and THE CHAMP IS HERE!

Cena leaves the ring holding up the title.

Heyman is here! He’s walking around backstage and looks paranoid.

[Commercial]

Paul Heyman comes out and heads to the ring to address the WWE Universe.

Heyman: Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman. And for seven days I have been dogged about Brock Lesnar attacking CM Punk here on Raw, and for the first time in my life I have ignored CM Punk’s texts and his phone calls and e-mails because we live so much of our lives in public that the only way to do this is face to face in front of all of you. So CM Punk, I know you’ve been looking for me for a week, and you want answers. Tonight you’re going to get those answers. Your WWE fans want you to come out, and so do I.

CM Punk comes out and heads to the ring to confront Paul.

Punk: You want to do this in public? You want to air dirty laundry in public? Well the public should be caught up on exactly why, based off your rotten reputation in this business, exactly why I am a “Paul Heyman guy.” In 2005, after wrestling around the world and generating a little buzz for myself I was given a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. And at the time the senior Vice Present of Talent Relations was that goof John Laurinaitis. So Johnny thought it was a good idea to send me to development. Now because he burned bridges and pissed off a lot of people here, Paul Heyman was put in charge of the development system. And you were set up to fail, weren’t you? And CM Punk wasn’t supposed to succeed. Certain people in managerial positions didn’t like CM Punk. E-mails were sent saying “Cut the kid loose. He’s not what we’re looking for.” He was told to no event consider bring Punk to Raw or television. But despite Heyman’s proven track record of being a liar and manipulator Paul Heyman never pulled the trigger. Paul Heyman refused to fire CM Punk. He saw something in me. He believed in me so much that when ECW was resurrected his first draft pick was me.

I don’t mean to bore anything with this dirty laundry between…two friends, but now I got that out of the way, I got two things to say. First, I want you to tell Brock Lesnar that i’m coming for him. I don’t care that he’s bigger or stronger than me because he’s not better than me. You know what i’m going to say next. I’m the best wrestler on the planet. And i’m going to say it straight up to your face cause Brock doesn’t have the balls to be here today. There’s nobody more sadistic or relentless, so you let him know that I will do whatever it takes to bring your beast incarnate down. And now we can finally address the elephant in the room. What happened last week? Because of our past, despite the horror stories I heard, you never did me wrong. So last week, did Brock Lesnar attack me on his own or did Brock Lesnar attack me because you saw the writing on the wall after Payback. Did you send Brock Lesnar after me? For the first time I want you to tell me the truth. You are not going to manipulate me like everyone else. Tell me you sent Brock Lesnar after me and i’ll accept it. Don’t lie to me. Look me in the eye. Swear on your children and tell me right now for the first time. You tell me the truth!

“Tell the truth” chants.

Heyman: I never wanted it to be this way between us. And since you demand the truth, and because you would be able to see through me, and because as my best friend, you deserve the truth. I will tell you the truth straight to your face. On my children…I did not know that Brock Lesnar would be here last week. And that’s the very same response I used to get from Vince McMahon and Stephanie and John Laurinaitis when i’d tell them “Hey, this kid is the next WrestleMania main event” they would boo me in their texts. Brock Lesnar fulfilled his contractual obligations. I have no idea hw would be back. You want the truth? He’s an uncomfortable one. The moment you said Brock Lesnar needed my help, you started it. You didn’t pick a fight with me. You picked a fight with Brock Lesnar. The professional jealousy between you two has run deep for a long time. Why do you think I never went to Vince McMahon and said “let’s do a CM Punk/Brock Lesnar tag match.” Think of the money we could’ve made. Why didn’t we see them together? I kept the two of you apart because of the jealousy between the two of you. In 2006 I made an exception to the rule. Business came second. Friendship came first.

I accept myself for all my flaws, but i’m not stupid. I’m going to walk down that aisle with you one day when you’re challenging for the WWE Championship. I’m going to walk that aisle with you when you’re in the main event of WrestleMania. As uncomfortable as it is for the world to hear, CM Punk…I love you! You’re my best friend in the world, and i’m going to screw up my dreams because I got sad that I can’t be ringside for your matches? I’m going to screw all that up? I will never…I will never represent anyone and that includes Brock Lesnar. And that’s going to be between me and Brock, not you. In 2006 everyone said “Paul! Get rid of him!” And now in 2013 everyone is pointing a finger and telling you to get rid of me. So my fate is in your hands. And with all due respect, to be honest with you, it’s your move, Punk.

Punk crosses his arms and looks over Heyman. He then looks to the fans.

Punk: I’m sorry I doubted you.

Punk gives Heyman a hug. Heyman returns it.

After a short break, The Prime Time Players come out and head to the ring. Darren Young is in singles action.

Brad: Well I did.

Vickie: What do you mean you did?

Ryback comes in and interrupts them.

Ryback: Did you see how easily I handled Kahli? How I pinned Cena at Payback? What I want you to do is cancel the match with Henry and have me face Cena again. I’m sick of being screwed time and time again. I deserve better!

Jericho: Woah woah woah! You deserve better? How about the week i’m having? Getting attacked from behind and not being in the Money in the Bank ladder match. The match I invented. I should be the one going into that match.

Ryback: Cry me a river. Seven time WWE Champion? I could eat you alive.

Jericho: Eat me alive? What are you, a cannibal now? You want to try me?

They get in each other’s faces.

Punk: I don’t need your help.

Heyman: Look, you’re the best in the world. But I got this. I talked to Vickie Guerrero and, get this, next week on Raw it’s going to be the Prime Time Players against Curtis Axel…and CM Punk.

Punk: Unbelievable. You know that? You’re unbelievable. I’ll be in the match. I’m going to win without Curtis Axel’s help, then i’m coming after Brock Lesnar. Then i’m going to win Money in the Bank, and then i’m going to be the WWE Champion. And i’m going to do all of this…without your help.

I’ve had people to the likes of Quentin Tarantino reach out to me. Steven Spielberg. Tyler Perry. And that’s great. But that’s not what I want. That’s not what I deserve! Now I have people very upset with me because I used my friends. I used my family. And I used the other WWE superstars. And i’m not going to apologize to any of you. People been telling me my whole life how I should live. Telling me what defines me. “Mark Henry, you’re a big kid. Don’t hurt the little children.” Please. “Mark Henry, you work hard and you go to the Olympics and you win it for America!” Please. What’s going to happen at Money in the Bank is a no good, dirty, filthy, lying, cheating Mark Henry is going to show up. Y’all a bunch of puppets. You do what I ask you to do.
