» Internally, many feel the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony has developed enough name value as part of WrestleMania weekend that they don’t need to deliver a huge name each and every year. While many within the company would love to see Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson accept the honor one of these years, as well as “Macho Man” Randy Savage, there is no sense of desperation to find a major name. Instead, the company may take the ensemble approach such as in 2007 when Dusty Rhodes was the biggest name to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Many feel the company can lure enough notable names from the past who may not be mega-stars on the level of Hulk Hogan or Ric Flair, yet would still satisfy viewers as a package deal. Furthermore, WWE can also use big name presenters as they did with Johnson when he inducted his father and grandfather if need be.
