Demento Note, Party With Trish, Cena Attends Premiere, McMahon

WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena was in New York City last night for the movie premiere of “The Day the Earth Stood Still”, which opens Friday. The 20th Century Fox sci-fi thriller stars Keanu Reeves and Will Smith’s son. AceShowbiz.com reports that WWE recently forged a partnership with 20th Century Fox, which will distribute several upcoming WWE Studios projects, including Cena’s “12 Rounds” movie that opens just before WrestleMania 25 on March 27, 2009.

WWE CEO Linda McMahon and new COO Donna Goldsmith will be presenting a formal outline of WWE’s business operation at UBS’s 36th Annual Global Media & Communications Conference in New York City this afternoon. WWE will stream a webcast of McMahon’s presentation this afternoon at Corporate.WWE.com.

Former WWE Diva Trish Stratus announced on her WWE Universe blog that she’s hosting a Christmas party next Wednesday 12/17 at her Yoga studio outside of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. “By the way you are all invited to my holiday party at my yoga studio,” Stratus said on her WWE Universe blog. “If you happen to be up this way in … Canada … Ontario … Vaughan … my Stratusphere …. let me know. I’ll have to get more finger foods.” Trish is also doing a holiday fundraiser later that night at her yoga studio. Anybody who makes a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will receive a free yoga class.

Not that anyone really cares but someone emailed me this morning to tell me that WWE security at last nights SmackDown! tapings took his sign that stated “Demento Fears Clark”. I found that quite funny but whatever. :-]
