Big Show, The Great Khali, Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes appeared in a comedy sketch that aired on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien on NBC tonight to promote the 25th Anniversary of Wrestlemania special this Saturday on the same network. In the sketch, which sent up Spanish telenovelas (with everyone speaking in Spanish to boot), O’Brien played “Conando” who was rescuing a pretty Latina waitress from a would-be suitor that threatened to cut her with a broken beer bottle when she refused his advances. After being struck by Conando, he called upon The Legacy. Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes came out and grabbed “Conando”, then lifted him into the air. He noted they were impressive, then called out The Great Khali and The Big Show, with the latter crashing through a wall. Although Show said he wanted to resolve the conflict without violence, it quickly turned into a short, silly brawl. In the end, Show double chokeslammed Legacy through a bar that was part of the restaurant set. In the end, Show said they needed to return to America for the Wrestlemania special. Conando tried to flirt with the waitress, only to have longtime sidekick (and wrestling fan) Andy Richter show up dressed like a Luchador to ruin the mood. It was cute, mindless fun.
