Kelly Kelly/WWE Update, WWE Legends At RAW & More

— Greg Gagne (64) and Manny Fernandez (58) celebrated their birthdays yesterday.

— Former WCW announcer “Stagger” Lee Marshall is in the process of organizing a reunion of broadcasters in Phoenix, Arizona this February. The reunion will take place at radio station KRIZ. (Marshall is also the voice of Tony the Tiger in the Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes commercials.)

— As noted earlier here on the website, Harley Race was backstage at the 1,000th RAW but wasn’t used. Several legends were backstage at the show but didn’t end up on TV. Additionally, despite the success of the show’s ratings, almost no one is excited about moving to three hours. With the ratings success of the weekly “Legends” segments on RAW, we noted yesterday that WWE’s booking committee are considering making the feature a regularity by having one former Superstar brought back on every show.

— As noted earlier here on the website, Kelly Kelly’s relationship with WWE is being described as “strained.” Some in the company expected her to return at the 1,000th RAW and be full-time, but she did not. As of this weekend, she had not informed the company when she would be back, nor given any future plans about time off.
