Greater Manchester City Life recently interviewed Abyss to promote the next TNA tour overseas. Here are some of the highlights: On His Influences: “There’s two. I was probably influenced most by Rowdy Roddy Piper. The first time I saw him on TV when I was a kid and just hearing him talk in interviews with the over the top character, it just drew me right in, I was hooked right away. And the other one, who oddly enough is with us now (TNA roster), is Mick Foley. He definitely had a big influence on me coming up and it’s pretty awesome to have him actually working with us now.” On Working With Foley: “I would love to do it, I’m sure down the road it’s on the cards somewhere, I know I’d be super honored and super excited about doing it for sure. Working with him after everything he’s accomplished, would be an honor. And I think people want to see it, I think Abyss and Mick Foley is something that people would be interested to see just how crazy it would get.”
