As a reminder, WWE has a double TV taping planned for tonight at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. WWE will be taping both RAW and SmackDown tonight. We reported last week that WWE canceled their SmackDown taping for tomorrow night in Colorado Springs, Colorado due to the Waldo Canyon fire. The company stated that refunds are available at the point of purchase. WWE also noted that they would be donating $10,000 to the American Red Cross to support those families affected by the fire.
WWE SmackDown is expected to be taped AFTER tonight’s WWE RAW telecast. We’ll have WWE SmackDown **SPOILERS** but it’ll be a very late night as there is a two hour delay in Denver (Mountain Time Zone).
As of right now, no matches have been announced for tonight’s RAW or SmackDown tapings.
The advertised dark match main events feature CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan and John Cena vs. The Big Show and John Laurinaitis a handicap match.
Zack Ryder will be the guest General Manager of SmackDown.
Bob Backlund is backstage and will likely be working an angle with Heath Slater.
Jim Ross tweeted the following regarding tonight’s double TV taping for RAW and SmackDown in Denver: “Denver area WWE fans in for a real treat tonight. LIVE RAW & Smackdown taping. Super, doubleheader! USA network at 9/8 cst.”
