– JB hyped the PPV line up.

– Via text message; an early estimate has the crowd around 5,000. We heard they didn’t sell many more than 2,000 tickets, so they have likely papered the crowd.

– Lauren interviewed Beer Money Inc. Lauren pointed out that Team 3D just flew back from Japan via a 15 hour flight, and she wasn’t even sure they had arrived in the building yet. Roode admitted they have had the lighter schedule, but laughed with James Storm. Storm said he don’t feel sorry for them, he feels sorry for the plane with those big guys on it. Storm said he has been partying and spending their $100,000.

The British Invasion (with Rob Terry) vs. “Showtime” Eric Young & Rhino. Rhino went to tag in Young, but he jumped down from the ring and walked off. Jesse Neal from the U.S.S Cole came out to provide Rhino moral support in this now handicap match. Mike Tenay said the X-Division title match fought under King of the Mountain rules will open the PPV. Neal tagged in, and got pinned by the British Invasion at 5:36.

Via text message; Dixie Carter came out and took pictures with the fans. Crowd hot for hometown hero Rhino.

X-Divison title match – King of the Mountain: Suicide vs. Jay Lethal vs. Consequences Creed vs. Alex Shelley vs. Chris Sabin. When Suicide was introduced, he appeared on top of the King of the Mountain penalty box. Granderson is the holder of the championship belt.

Suicide pinned Lethal at 2:13, so he went to the box for two minutes.

Suicide pinned Shelley at 4:12 to send him to the box. Lethal has been released from the penalty box.

Creed, Sabin and Lethal all pinned Suicide at 6:26 as Shelley is released. Lethal got the credit for the pin.

Suicide has been freed. Creed pinned Shelley shortly afterwards, so Shelley returned to the box.

Sabin did the cross body block off the top of the penalty box on the outside. Shelley pinned Sabin at 12:10 when Sabin laid down for his partner to become illegible. Shelley climbed the ladder, but Suicide did a springboard suplex to stop Shelley.

Sabin pinned Lethal at 14:34 to become eligible, so all men are eligible to win.

Lethal is out the the box.

Lethal dropped the elbow on Sabin, who was laid out on a ladder that extended from the apron to the guard rail.

Shelly did sliced bread on Creed on the apron.

Suicide places the belt over the ring at 23:31 to successfully defend his title.

Tenay and West plugged the remaining matches on the PPV card.

Lauren interviewed Shane Douglas backstage. Douglas took offense to Lauren suggesting he may lose. Douglas said he sets the standard.

Second chance match: Shane Douglas vs. Daniels.

Douglas came out and cut a promo on Detroit, knocking them since Pittsburg beat Detroit in the Stanley Cup finals.

As Daniels and Douglas fought on the outside, Daniels says “nobody takes my spot Mike” as he walks by the announce booth.

On the outside, Douglas went after the left arm of Daniels, and continued to work it over in the ring.

Daniels won via the BME at 8:12.

JB interviews Mick Foley. JB said he only has a 20% of chance of retaining his title. Foley said its actually 40% as Jarrett, according to Foley, realizes Foley needs to be TNA champion for a long time. Foley walks off singing “I got the world title in my hands, I got the world title in my hands.”

We see a video package for Tara vs. Angelina Love.

Knockouts title match: Angelina Love (with the Beautiful People) vs. Tara.

I have to say, the entrance music for Love is annoying.

The announcers are still playing up that Team 3D have yet to arrive.

Tara went after the Madison and Velvet from the outside. They sprayed hair spray into Tara’s eyes which set up the finish for Love. She wins at 6:50 to retain her belt.

Backstage, Lauren interviews Dr. Stevie, Daffney and Raven in a dark room. Stevie said he tried to help Abyss, but decided the jigsaw puzzle that is Chris Parks couldn’t be put back together. Raven said Lauren turned him on. Raven said Abyss and himself are brothers in blood. Raven asks Lauren if she smelled blood in the air. Raven said himself and Abyss are hopeless are on the way to hell. Raven, Stevie and Daffney hug.

We see a video hyping the Monster’s Ball mixed tag team match.

Monster’s Ball mixed tag team match: Raven and Daffney (with Dr. Stevie) vs. Abyss and Taylor Wilde.

Wilde is tripped up by Stevie from the outside. Abyss press slammed Daffney over the ropes onto Raven and Richards. Wilde followed up by doing a cross body onto all three.

As the girls fought, Abyss and Raven battled into the crowd.

Wilde set up Daffney on a table, and jumped off a speaker splashing her through it.

Abyss found his black bag from under the ring. Stevie came in and nailed him with a chair shot. Abyss has been busted open. Raven attacked Abyss with a kendo stick.

Abyss opened the bag, and spread out the thumb tacks. Wilde pushed Daffney into the tacks, and had her pinned until Stevie made the save.

Even flow DDT by Raven on Abyss, but he kicked out. Abyss black hole slammed Raven onto the tacks and pinned him at 14:07.

Backstage, JB interviewed Jeff Jarrett and pointed out that Jarrett has never lost a King of the Mountain match. Jarrett said he has no desire to win the title tonight. Jarrett said he is tired of Mick Foley’s head games. He said after he wins the TNA title, then he’ll decide what to do with it.

We see a Matt Morgan highlight package.

Morgan’s Chance to Join the Main Event Mafia

If Matt Morgan wins the following match, he earns a spot in the Main Event Mafia. The bell rings and we’re underway. Morgan and Sting lock up, Morgan shoves Sting out of the ring to the outside. Morgan follows Sting to the outside and bounces his head off the crowd control gate. Sting ends up hitting the ground. Morgan kicks Sting in the face and works him over on the outside. Finally Morgan roles Sting back in the ring and gets on the apron. Sting cuts him off on the apron and ends up knocking him off down to the broadcast table. Sting bangs Morgan’s head off the guard rail. They’re back in the ring as Morgan connects on a big clothesline on Sting. Morgan elbows Sting in the head in the ring. Scoop and a slam from Morgan on ‘The Icon’. Morgan off the ropes into a leg drop on Sting. Two count. Morgan chokes Sting in the corner. The referee forces a break. Morgan whips Sting coast-to-coast and hits a side slam and a two count. Morgan chokes up Sting on the top rope and jumps over to the outside. Morgan taunts the crowd at ringside and gets back in to a dazed Sting. Morgan toys with Sting on the apron. Leg drop on the apron. Two count. Side headlock submission lock from Morgan on Sting. Sting battles back to his feet and lands elbows. Morgan quickly pulls Sting to the mat and pins him for a two count. Morgan locks in a submission hold on Sting in the ring. Sting once again battles back to his feet, but slowly. Elbow shots break the hold. Morgan and Sting exchange blows in the ring.

Morgan charges at Sting in the corner, Sting gets out of the way. Sting goes off the top rope with a missile dropkick on Morgan in the ring. Sting taunts the crowd but walks right into a dropkick from Morgan. Morgan gets a two count. He calls for his finisher. He can’t get it but he gets two count on Sting in the ring. Sting counters and gets the Scorpion Deathdrop. It wasn’t 100% but Sting finally hooks the Scorpion. Morgan powers out before the holds is applied. Sting hits the Scorpion Deathdrop from the second rope and pins Morgan for the three-count.

Winner – Sting

After the match we go to a promo video for TNA Bound For Glory on October 18, 2009. The show will be held in Los Angeles, California.

We’re backstage with Lauren and AJ Styles. Lauren says they could have the advantage in working together in tonight’s King of the Mountain match. Styles says it’s about having a plan and sticking to it. He says he and Joe have been talking about this match and what it takes to win. Styles says he’s going to put the company back in the hands that made it – the originals and they’re taking back what is rightfully theirs.

Samoa Joe calls out Angle, says one-by-one his Mafia members fell. He said tonight this ends where it began – with him. Joe says tonight they will begin the most powerful force in the history of professional wrestling.

Team 3D (c) vs. Beer Money, Inc
TNA World Tag Team Championship Match

The following match is for the TNA Tag Team Championship. Mike Tenay goes over the Taglines for the match. Beer Money, Inc. comes out first, James Storm on the beer cooler. The TNA Tag Team Champions Team 3D comes out next. The bell rings and we’re underway. Brother Devon and James Storm start things out in the ring. The crowd is already chanting for tables. Storm ducks a couple of blows from Devon and applies a side headlock on him. Devon counters and ends up hitting a clothesline. Devon hits a slam and gets a two count on Storm. Storm counters and tags in Robert Roode. They double team Devon. Roode goes off the ropes and onto Devon followed by a two count. Brother Ray tags himself in. Roode and Brother Ray lockup. They exchange blows in the ring. Roode kicks Ray in the midsection, whips off the ropes but eats offense from Ray in a counter. Roode counters and hits a shoulder block on Brother Ray. They lockup, Ray pushes Roode into the corner and hits an open-hand slap in the chest of one of the challengers. Roode battles out of the corner but Brother Ray hits a release suplex.

Brother Ray tags in Devon. They double team Roode for Devon to get a two count. Roode counters and finally tags in James Storm. They go for a double team but Brother Ray gets in to make the save. Both members of Beer Money are down. Devon and Storm are the legal men. Roode trips Devon from the outside. Storm gets on top of Devon and punches him in the face. Storm tags in Roode after a running clothesline. Roode applies a sleeper hold on Devon in the ring. Roode gets a two count on Devon and tags in James Storm. Storm takes down on Devon. Brother Ray tags in, he connects on a series of shots on Roode. Roode kicks Brother Ray in the face but he counters and goes for a pin. Storm makes the save. Storm is thrown to the outside, both members of Team 3D attack Roode. Roode’s alone with Team 3D. Brother Ray hits a scoop slam. Devon goes to the top rope with Brother Ray holding Roode, they hit What’s Up as the crowd pops. Devon gets a table from under the ring. Beer Money gets back into the game when Team 3D goes for the tables. High ankle spinebuster from Roode on Ray as Roode makes a tag followed by a double-team suplex. It’s Storm and Brother Ray in the ring. The British Invasion comes down to the ring. The British Invasion joins Don West and Mike Tenay at ringside. Storm gets a two count on Ray in the ring. Roode is tagged in. Ray counters a double team attempt in the ring. The camera cuts to the announce table. Ray gets a tag in as Devon comes in and takes out both members of Beer Money.

Devon gets a cover on Roode but James Storm makes the save. Big slam from Devon on Roode. Team 3D double teams Roode as Storm goes to the top. Cross-body block from Storm onto both members of Team 3D. All four men are in the ring and the commentary is a mess. Team 3D attempt their double team finisher but Beer Money foils it. Storm works with Devon on the top rope, taking him off with a hurricanrana. Roode goes off the top rope onto Devon for a two count. Beer Money set Brother Ray up on the top rope. Ray counters and knocks Storm to the outside. Devon ends up getting a long two count on Roode. 3D on Roode after Storm accidentally spits beer in his eyes. Rob Terry from The British Invasion gets on the apron. Brother Ray takes out Terry and Brutus Magnus. Doug Williams gets on the apron, Devon tosses him off through a table. Beer Money, hits DWI and Roode is able to pin Devon to win the TNA Tag Team Championship.

Winners & new TNA Tag Team Champions – Beer Money, Inc.

Mick Foley (c) vs. Jeff Jarrett vs. AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe vs. Kurt Angle
King of the Mountain Match for the TNA Championship

The TNA Legends Champion AJ Styles is out first. The following match is for the TNA Championship.

Long introductions. This match won’t start until 10:30PM ET. We had the James Earl Jones sound like do individual introductions, but then we had to listen to JB given us more introductions.

Angle got heel heat by wearing a Pittsburgh Penguin jersey. Joe wore a Red Wings jersey, and attacked Angle before the bell. The referee ruled that he must start the match in the penalty box, and declared that Angle is already eligible. Match finally starts at 10:33.

Joe served his 2 minute penalty and entered the match. Jarrett pinned Foley at 2:15.

Joe choked out Foley via the rear naked choke, so Foley returns to the box. Joe, Jarrett, and Angle are eligible.

Joe climbed the ladder with the belt, but Foley returned to the box and pulled the ladder from Joe. Joe landed back first to the mat.

Jarrett climbed the ladder, but Angle low blowed him.

Jarrett went for a guitar shot, but Angle caught the guitar. Jarrett answered the ankle lock with a guitar shot.

Jarrett climbed the ladder, but Foley climbed the opposite side. Styles springboarded and knocked over the ladder.

Foley climbed to the top of the penalty box. Styles followed him up. Foley threw him off back into the ring.

Foley dropped an elbow off the box onto Angle and pinned him at 14:55, so Foley is eligible.

Joe flipped AJ over the top rope, but Foley barely broke his fall. Styles pinned Foley on the floor, but we never saw it, as Angle leaves the box.

Joe nearly had it, but AJ pulled him off the ladder. Styles tried to climb, but Joe stopped him. Styles clash on Angle. Joe again stopped Styles with a power bomb. Angle and Joe both climbed up together, and Joe gave the title belt to Angle to hang up and win the TNA title at 22:04. Looks like Joe is now a member of the mafia.
