— The Score’s Arda Ocal sent out the following update today… Just wanted to send a quick update to my #BretForTheWalk campaign which I launched to get Bret Hart considered for Canada’s Walk of Fame (like the Hollywood Walk of Fame). I posted a blog here: http://blogs.thescore.com/aftermath/2012/04/30/bretforthewalk-campaign-what-a-ride/ – the news item is that due to the thousands of votes received, Canada’s Walk of Fame CEO Peter Soumalias has confirmed that Bret Hart will be among those discussed for inclusion this year. Bret was the top vote getter among those living (Phil Hartman received more votes, as a campaign for him ran all year instead of 3 weeks like ours). Bret received the most votes of anyone else. 7 in total get inducted, one posthumously. The decision is now in the hands of the COWFame committee who will take the month of May to decide. The original campaign launch blog is here: http://blogs.thescore.com/aftermath/2012/04/11/bret-hart-for-canadas-walk-of-fame/
