He pointed out that one of his first big WWF breaks was a match against Ted DiBiase in nearby Odessa in 1989, saying that he wanted to support an the old wrestling which was once run by the Funks. “If I get a chance, I always try to do what I can for the small promotions across the world. I just had a little signing thing in Canada, but I’d honestly rather be here,” he said. “It’s great to be back here in a place where I don’t always get to come very often. I have a lot of fans in Texas.”
— Fit Finlay will face ROH television champion Roderick Strong in his debut match for the promotion. The two will face off at “Border Wars” in Toronto on May 12th. All matches set today for the show are as follows:

— Daniel Bryan spoke with the Huffington Post about his choice to be vegan and his training schedule, saying that it’s simply safer for him to stay vegan.
“My health is so much better,” he said while talking about keeping up with the pace of his job. “I’m bigger now than I was eating meat. My lifts in the gym are better. I’m in better shape.”
He added, “The other wrestlers just think it’s weird. They don’t understand it. Our lifestyles are grueling. I can’t go back to getting as sick as I was. It’s safer to stay vegan.”
