— As we noted earlier here on the website, WWE’s long-term plans for the new Network is to help eventually brand the company as more of a lifestyle instead of just a “sports entertainment and pro wrestling company.” This is something that Vince McMahon has been pushing for years. WWE is looking to completely re-invent the wheel over the next few years and the Network will lead the way.

— WWE Diva Layla indicated Wednesday her return to the ring is drawing near. She tweeted, “Who’s ready for wwe to become FLAWLESS again???”
The final WWE Women’s Champion has been sidelined since May due to tears of both her Anterior cruciate and Medial collateral ligaments, which required surgery. She has undergone rehabilitation in the meantime.
Meanwhile, “retired” Diva Michelle McCool said she’s ready for Layla’s return, adding, “Going thru photos…..good times!!! WWE needs some flawless back-FAST!”
We’ve heard from a reliable source that McCool has been getting the “itch” to return in recent months. No word at this time whether she has had talks with WWE about a return to the company. We’ll keep you posted as we hear more. Stay tuned!
