Middleweight bout: Paul Bradley (185.2lbs 18-2-0, 1NC) vs. Rafael “Sapo” Natal (185.4lbs 12-3-1)
ROUND ONE: Natal is first to jab. Bradley is in the center with Natal circling. Bradley goes for a KO punch early into this fight. Natal moves to the center now. Natal connects with a jab-kick combo. Natal is throwing a lot of one-two jab-kick combo’s. Natal giving chase to Bradley. Natal is lighting up Bradley’s leg. Bradley retakes the center and tries for another power punch. Natal throws a pair of teep kicks. Natal with an inside leg kick, Bradley charges forward and fails to get the takedown. Bradley tries to catch one of Natal’s kicks in order to take him down. However, Bradley still can’t get him down. Natal continues to strike until the end of the round.
SCORECARD: Natal 10-9
ROUND TWO: Bradley storms out of the gate throwing looping hooks and strikes. Natal gets rocked and summarily taken down. Bradley has top position. Bradley moves to side control. Bradley steps out and allows Natal to get back to his fight. Natal lands a shot the backs Bradley up. Natal continues to chew away at Bradley’s leg. Bradley eventually comes forward with a hook-knee combo. Natal lands another kick. Natal has managed to reclaim this round from a rough start. Bradley claims he got poked but there’s only a brief pause in the action. Bradley charges forward and gets the takedown he’s been looking for. No time to do anything with it.

ROUND THREE: Bradley starts off aggressive as he knows he has to finish this fight. Bradley is trying his damndest to catch Natal with a power punch. Natal tries a spinning backfist but gets nothing but air. Bradley tries a takedown but Natal escapes. Bradley tries two more time but can only press Natal against the cage. Natal smashes a knee into Bradley. Bradley tries for the takedown again but he do a thing with Natal. Natal in turn is managing to score with strikes. Bradley presses Natal against the fence but the clinch is broken by the ref. Bradley finally gets the takedown. Natal scrambles and gets back to his feet. Bradley clinches again but short of a surprise KO this thing will go to a Natal decision victory.

Featherweight bout: Mike Brown (146lbs 25-8) vs. Nam Phan (145lbs 16-9)
ROUND ONE: Before I get started let me say that Nam Phan coming out Axel F from Beverly Hills Cop = awesome sauce. That is all…Phan and Brown start off quick and aggressive. Brown charges forward for a takedown but Phan is able to stay on his feet. There’s a brief exchange and Brown goes for the takedown. Brown bullies Phan to the canvas. Brown is working Phan over from the back. Brown is having his way punching Phan at will right in the side of the head. Phan can’t seem to find his way out. Phan is slowly trying to inch his way out. Phan is on his side and taking punches directly in his face. Brown starts elbowing Phan in the face. Phan survives the onslaught and gets back to his feet. Brown forces Phan to the ground as the round ends.
SCORECARD: Brown 10-8
ROUND TWO: Brown scores early with a few strikes. Brown attempts a single leg but Phan sprawls. Brown has Phan pressed against the fence. Phan is able to separate himself. They exchange jabs. Phan is starting to light Brown up with strikes. Brown shoots and is once more sprawled on. Phan separates and resumes striking. Phan lands some good body shots but Brown shoots and rams him against the fence. Brown drives Phan to the canvas. Phan tries for a kimura. Brown tries to slam him. They end up back on their feet. Phan plants one on the chin of Brown. Phan is working over Brown’s torso. Brown swings but can’t find the target. Brown tries another takedown but Phan stuffs it. The round ends with Brown throwing weak front kicks.
SCORECARD: Phan 10-9
ROUND THREE: Phan comes out looking for the KO/TKO. Brown won’t go out like that and returns with strikes of his own. But it’s not long before he’s back to ole faithful, taking Phan down. Phan Brown are standing against the fence. Phan breaks free. Brown lands a hook. Brown charges forward with a takedown and Phan tries for a kimura. Phan gets away but Brown chases with punches. Phan misses with a high head kick. Brown attempts a takedown but gets stuffed and hammerfisted. Phan lands a solid left hook. Brown spends the remainder of the fight pressing Phan against the fence. Brown gets Phan’s back. Horn blows and off the judges table we go.

Welterweight bout: Johny Hendricks (170.8lbs 10-1) vs. Mike Pierce (171lbs 12-3)
ROUND ONE: Hendricks come forward with the Muay Thai clinch and delivers a few knees to the face. Hendricks presses Pierce against the fence. Hendricks lands knees in the clinch. Hendricks is working his uppercut. Pierce tries to counter and gets clinched and knee’d in the process. Hendricks lunges forward and takes Pierce down. Pierce gets back to his feet and breaks free. Hendricks knee’s in the clinch again. Hendricks throws a knee-elbow combo. Hendricks looks like he’s just leaning on Pierce in the corner. Hendricks lands an uppercut. Pierce tries a head kick.
SCORECARD: Hendricks 10-9
ROUND TWO: Pierce starts of throwing straights at Hendricks. They have a brief exchange that ends with Pierce chasing Hendricks away again. Hendricks shoots and his takedown attempt ends with Pierce pressing him against the fence. The ref breaks them up. Hendricks tries again and ends up right in Pierces front headlock. The fighters exchange punches in the center of the octagon. Hendricks really starts to go after Pierce with a minute left on the clock. Hendricks tries to take him down again but he can’t keep him down.

ROUND THREE: Hendricks a strike early and this time Pierce answers with a takedown attempt. Hendricks with an elbow-uppercut combo. Pierce tries another front headlock. Pierce won’t let Hendricks have any space. Pierce smothers Hendricks. Pierce slams Hendricks. Hendricks had Pierce in rubber guard. Pierce lands an elbow. Hendricks escapes. Hendricks is admonished for an illegal upkick. Hendricks smashes Pierce with a knee. Hendricks tries for a takedown. Tough one to call.

Bantamweight bout: Ivan Menjivar (138lbs 22-8) vs. Nick Pace (135.8lbs 6-1)
ROUND ONE: Menjivar and Pace clinch and wrestle to the cage. They break move back to the center. The fighters exchange leg kicks. They lock up and attempt to throw each other down. Menjivar slams a kick into Pace’s leg. Pace returns fire. Pace takes a shot in the crotch as he lands one right on Menjivar’s chin. Both fighters are throwing kicks and punches trying to get something to connect. Pace takes Menjivar down. Pace gets Menjvar’s back. Menjivar stands up with Pace riding piggy back. Menjivar finally gets Pace off of him Pace plants a few shots on Menjivar’s chin.
SCORECARD: Pace 10-9
ROUND TWO: Both men start off exchanging kicks. Menjivar continues to press the action with strikes while Pace backs off. Menjivar unloads a combination of punches and kicks, ending with a huge left hook. Menjivar is laying into Pace’s leg with hard round kicks. Menjivar is tagging Pace at will. Menjivar grabs a clinch and punishes Pace with knee’s to the face. Pace has few answers for Menjivar’s striking game. Menjivar is kicking Pace at will. Menjivar is trying to set up Pace for the KO but Pace turns the tables and takes Menjivar down. Pace grinds out the round from half guard.

ROUND THREE: Menjivar resumes kicking Pace. Menjivar stuffs a takedown. Menjivar lands a hard shot to Pace’s noodle. Menjivar ducks a punch and clinches with Pace. He releases and goes back to boxing. Pace is absorbing a lot of punches and kicks. Pace takes another one in the junk. Both men are trading kicks and punches. Pace smashes Menjivar. Pace chases Menjivar down. Pace misses with the spinning back fist. Menjivar has lost an eye. Pace ends the fight with a flying knee.

ROUND ONE: Mendes starts off hunting Yahya’s leg early. Mendes misses his leg and nails his crotch instead. This nutshot was brought to you by Diamond MMA. Yahya rushes in throwing wildly. Both men are trying to look for an opening to a quick KO. Yahya’s throw’s a kick, Mendes catches but Yahya blocks the takedown. Mendes throws Yahya halfway across the cage. Yahya lunges for a takedown and ends up on all fours. Yahya rushes, Mendes stuffs and forces Yahya down, finishing the exchange with a punch in the face.

ROUND TWO: There’s a short exchange before Mendes tackles Yahya. Mendes smothers for a few moments and then releases as he doesn’t want to grapple with Yahya. Yahya chases for a takedown but Mendes outruns him. Yahya comes forward, Mendes ducks and takes Yahya down. Yahya tries for a guillotine but Mendes gets free with ease. Mendes lands a huge straight right. Yahya catches one in the jaw coming in. Yahya having a hard time landing most of his strikes on Mendes.

ROUND THREE: The round barely begins and Mendes tackles Yahya. Mendes grinding and smothering Yahya. Mendes with a quick elbow. Mendes postures up just long enough to punish Yahya and goes back to chest on chest. Yahya finally stands and escapes. Mendes tackles Yahya again. Mendes lands a kick but Yahya attempts to catch it. Mendes slams Yahya down again. Mendes fronts flips over to take his back but runs out of time.

Light Heavyweight bout: Alexander Gustafsson (204.4lbs 11-1) vs. Matt Hamill (206lbs 11-3)
ROUND ONE: Hamill looks for the takedown as Gustafsson circles away. Hamill lands a jab. Gustafsson lands a pair of uppercuts. Hamill lands an uppercut. Gustafsson with a leg kick. Both men are in and out of the pocket throwing single shots. Hamill plants one on the jaw. Gustafsson lands a hook.

ROUND TWO: Both men continues to dance around until Gustafsson starts to get aggressive. Hamill tries a takedown but is unsuccessful. Gustafsson tee’s off on Hamill. Gustafsson unloads on Hamill but most are blocked. Gustafsson lands a series of shots and knocks Hamill from pillar to post. Gustafsson mauls Hamill and gets the TKO victory!

PPV MAIN CARD MATCHES
Welterweight bout: Rory MacDonald (170.6lbs 11-1) vs. Mike Pyle (170.8lbs 21-7-1)
ROUND ONE: After a brief feeling out process MacDonald kicks Pyle and knocks him down. Pyle back up and MacDonald trips him down. MacDonald attempts a guillotine. Pyle gets back up again. MacDonald fakes one way and smacks him another. MacDonald stuff’s a takedown and attempts a guillotine. Pyle rolls out of it. MacDonald works from full guard. MacDonald smashes Pyle into oblivion. He grounds and pounds his way to a TKO victory. Two in row, GIGGITY!

Middleweight bout: Constantinos Philippou (185.2lbs 7-2-0, 1NC) vs. Jorge Rivera (184.6lbs 18-8)
ROUND ONE: Rivera starts off with a series of leg kicks. Philippou clinches with Rivera and trips him down. Philippou presses Rivera against the fence. Rivera gets back to his feet but is punished for his efforts with strikes. Philippou is not giving Rivera a bit of space. They break off from each other. Rivera tags Philippou with hard right hand. Philippou answers back with an uppercut. Philippou ends the match pressing Rivera against the fence.
SCORECARD: Philippou 10-9
ROUND TWO: Rivera throws a knee, which misses and Philippou presses his advantage. Philippou smashes Rivera and nearly finishes him, hammering down several shots. Rivera recovers and presses Philippou against the fence. Philippou reverses and escapes. Philippou throws a series of punches and Rivera clinches. Both men appear exhausted. The ref breaks them up. Rivera trips Philippou but Philippou goes for an omaplata. Rogan points out that Philippou might not know how to finish this move. Rivera escapes and ends the round Philippou in half guard.

ROUND THREE: Rivera knee’s Philippou again. Rivera lands a series of 1-2 combinations. Philippou is a little rocked. Rivera lands a pair of hooks and immediately taken down. Rivera attempts a triangle but Philippou defends and gets his arm free. The fighters clinch and commence to footstomp one another until the ref breaks them up. Rivera front headlocks Philippou against the fence. Philippou stands up before the ref breaks them up. Philippou ends the fight with one last takedown.

Welterweight bout: Brian Ebersole (170.6lbs 47-14-1, 1NC) vs. Dennis Hallman (170.8lbs 65-13-2, 1NC)
ROUND ONE: Hallman and his little shorts chases Ebersole and arrow chest down and immediately takes his back. Hallman is attempting a rear-naked choke. Ebersole tries to fight his way out of it. Hallman nearly mounts Ebersole but Ebersole turns around. Unfortunately he turns right into Hallman’s guillotine. Ebersole gets his head free. Ebersole reverses the situation and smashes Hallman. Ebersole elbows Hallman in the face. This one is close to being stopped. Ebersole punches Hallman’s face in and this one is all over. Bow down before the power of arrow chest hair (not to be confused with Aerosmith chest hair).

Middleweight bout: Yoshihiro Akiyama (184.6lbs 13-3-0, 2NC) vs. Vitor Belfort (185.4lbs 19-9)
ROUND ONE: Belfort and Akiyama trade kicks. Belfort throws a high head kick. Akiyama with a low leg kick. Another head kick from Belfort. Belfort punches Akiyama dead in the temple and down goes Sexyama. Belfort swarms and finishes Akiyama…well that was quick.
OFFICIAL RESULT: WINNER – Vitor Belfort by KO at 1:52 of round 1.
Main Event Light Heavyweight bout: Rashad Evans (204.4lbs 20-1-1) vs. Tito Ortiz (205.8lbs 17-8-1)
ROUND ONE: Ortiz is first to land with a kick and then a hook. Evans keeps baiting Evans and running out of the pocket. They clinch and release. Ortiz gets a takedown. After a bit Evans escapes. They are standing and trading. Evans is teeing off on Ortiz. Ortiz looks out on his feet. Ortiz knees Evans in the torso. Evans picks Ortiz and dumps him over his back. Evans looks to ground and pound but hits nothing but arm. Evans looks for opening but Ortiz slows the onslaught down long enough to get out of the round.
SCORECARD: Evans 10-9
ROUND TWO: After a minute or two of pawing at one another Evans sticks his head into Ortiz’s guillotine. Evans escapes however and gets side control. Evans ground and pounds while smothering Ortiz. Evans has a mounted crucifix but loses it. Ortiz rolls through and tries for a kneebar but Evans spins out. Evans knees Ortiz in the sternum and finishes him off with strikes to the face.
