Naomi Comments on Her Current Storyline Feud with Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill
A recent episode of The Ringer’s The Masked Man Show podcast featured Naomi as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Naomi’s thoughts about if there was an added responsibility because of representation for her current storyline and feud with Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill.
“Absolutely. It’s a lot of pressure. All bullcrap aside, if there is anyone who can do it, I’m confident that this magic that is happening between us three, we can do it and we can deliver and elevate and change the game moving forward, just like the women before us did. It’s a lot, and it’s heavy, but I’ve worked my whole career for a moment and a story like this. 16 years. I don’t take it for granted. I want to soak in and enjoy every aspect and moment of this, whether it’s good or bad, it’s part of the process. We have the right girls in this moment. It’s the right time. It’s the right story.”

Saraya Comments on Potential Future Return to WWE & Her Focus to Train at Natalya’s Training School for In-Ring Return Plans
TV Insider held a recent interview with former AEW talent Saraya, former Paige in WWE. One of the topics discussed included Saraya’s thoughts about her currently being hopeful to train at Natalya’s wrestling school in Florida later this year for her in-ring return plans and potential return to WWE in the future.
“I would like to get back in the ring this year and really train and find myself again. I feel like I didn’t do that the past couple of years. I want to do the training side of things. I want to go to Nattie’s training. School and get in the ring with her. That’s my focus this year. I didn’t get to do a Royal Rumble or an Elimination Chamber or anything I didn’t get to do. Maybe down the line I will get to do them, who knows?”
Saraya also gave her thoughts about her praise of today’s era of women’s wrestlers getting to compete in matches she was not able to earlier in her wrestling career.
“I’m proud of the women today. They get to do matches I wasn’t able to do in my time. This revolution started around my time. Now they get to do these stipulation matches the guys get to do. It’s bittersweet for me because I think about how I wish I could be more involved in that, but at the same time, I’m proud of them all. They grabbed the brass ring and ran with it. They are doing amazing things. The women in all companies are absolutely killing it.”
Kevin Owens Responds to Matt Riddle’s Comments About Him & Sami Zayn Being Hardest to Work with in WWE
As noted before, former WWE and current Major League Wrestling talent Matt Riddle stated in a recent interview with News4Jax that Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens were the hardest people to work with during his time in WWE because they didn’t let him get to say much for their segments and matches.
A recent episode of the My Mom’s Basement with Robbie Fox podcast featured Owens as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Owens’ thoughts about Riddle’s recent comments about him and Zayn and why they did not let Riddle speak that much whenever they worked together.
“I did see it. It’s funny because, coming from him, I have nothing against him at all but, to me, he’s a guy who had really amazing opportunities handed to him, like being Randy’s tag team partner for so long and basically getting to ride the coattails of a legend, and he managed to screw it all up. Not because of his abilities, because he’s very talented and very athletic, but because of his own attitude and poor choices.
For him to say we’re hard to work with or whatever it is — he couldn’t get a word in — there is a pretty good reason for that. You look at his track record and you look at our track record, I think that speaks for itself.
If that’s how he felt, it’s fine. I can’t say he’s wrong when he said it was hard to get a word in. It probably was because we probably didn’t let him get a word in too much just because we’ve been around him and we work a certain way, and it works.”
