FTR Turns Heel on Cope at Dynasty 2025
Sunday’s AEW Dynasty 2025 event also featured FTR turning heel on Cope and breaking up Rated FTR.
Near the end of the AEW World Trios Championship match between Rated FTR and champions Death Riders, Cope attemped to hit a spear to Wheeler Yuta only for Yuta to leap frog over him and Cope having to stop in his tracks to avoid hitting Dax Harwood in the corner. This led to Yuta shoving Cope into Harwood and hit a Busaiku Knee to Harwood for the victory for the Death Riders.
Following the match, Cope and Cash Wheeler helped Harwood up to his feet and all three hugged. As Wheeler was walking away to leave the ring, Harwood grabbed Cope and laid him out with a piledriver. Harwood then got out of the ring and grabbed a set of chairs and got back into the ring to setup a conchairto. Harwood handed one chair to Wheeler who tossed it away and then shoved Harwood. This led to Harwood picking up Cope and hoisted him up in the air for the Shatter Machine which Wheeler did revealing him being upset was just a ruse. FTR then proceeded to bash Cope’s head with a chair and left but not before mocking Cope’s neck injury as AEW officials and medics rushed out to attend to Cope. After FTR left, Cope was stretcher out of the ring and to the back.
What the hell are you doing FTR?!

Bandido Wins ROH World Title at Dynasty 2025
Sunday’s AEW Revolution 2025 event also featured Bandido defeating Chris Jericho to become the new ROH World Champion.
This match also featured Bandido putting his mask on the line as well and successfully kept his mask as a result.
Near the end of the match, “Bad Apple” Bryan Keith came out to the ring trying to interfere only for Gravity to show up leading to a brawl breaking out between the two. As the referee was distracted with what was going on the outside, Jericho grabbed his bat and struck Bandido in the head. Jericho then proceeded to struggle hiding the bat in between the post and steel steps but eventually managed to cover Bandido for the pinfall victory. As Jericho was celebrating, Bandido’s family at ringside managed to get referee Aubrey Edwards attention and told her that there was something hidden in the steel steps. This led to Bandido’s family and Edwards walking to the steel steps and Edwards pulling out the bat. This led to the match referee telling Justin Roberts that the result was voided and the match is restarted.
