Rumor Killer on Gail Kim & Ariel Shnerer Issuing Ultimatum to TNA President Carlos Silva Prior to Firings

As noted before, eight executives were fired from TNA Wrestling and their parent company Anthem last week. Among those fired included TNA Talent Relations and Producing Gail Kim and TNA Executive Producer and head of creative Ariel Shnerer. Prior to his firing, Shnerer had been involved in a backstage incident at a recent WWE NXT show regarding talent not wanting him to be in the locker room that resulted in WWE SVP of NXT and Talent Relations Shawn Michaels getting involved.

Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported in a recent Q&A article that his sources denied recent rumors of Kim and Shnerer had issued an ultimatum to TNA President Carlos Silva prior to their firings. Those spoken to reportedly stated that no such situation had occurred.

This rumor originated from a recent report from BodySlam.net and Negative BQ podcast that claimed that Kim and Shnerer did not like each other backstage and the continued backstage turmoil led to both of them giving Silva an ultimatum demanding that he pick a side. This report claimed that Silva did not pick a side and decided to fire both instead.
