As noted before, Eight executives from TNA Wrestling and TNA’s parent company Anthem were fired from hotjh companies this past Tuesday. Among those fired included TNA Talent Relations and Producing Gail Kim.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that one source familiar with the situation stated that they were not surprised and even saw the writing on the wall for Kim’s firing.
This same source reportedly stated “once they stopped having Gail produce matches or work in Talent Relations, the writing was on the wall. She was elevated to work alongside Carlos and head up `Special Projects.’ Being assigned to Special Projects is the corporate kiss of death.”
