Giulia Injury Update Status & Backstage Update on Reason for Title vs. Title Match at NXT Roadblock 2025

As noted before, NXT brand talent Giulia is currently dealing with an undisclosed injury and is expected to take some time off to heal following this past Tuesday’s NXT Roadblock 2025 show. This past Tuesday’s show was notable for Stephanie Vaquer defeating Giulia to become the new NXT Women’s Champion and retaining her NXT Women’s North American Championship in a Title vs. Title match.

Bryan Alvarez reported in a recent episode of the Wrestling Observer Live that his sources stated that there were two separate issues that forced WWE officials hand in making the title switch for their NXT Roadblock 2025 show.

Alvarez reported that one of the issues was a “minor” visa-related issue.

In regards to Guilia’s injury status, Alvarez reported that WWE’s internal roster list currently has Giulia’s injury listed as “undisclosed.” No other details reportedly are currently known about Giulia’s injury in regards to the nature and severity of it.


Seth Rollins Comments on Having End Date Set for His In-Ring Career Retirement Being Him Turning 45 Years Old

WFAN held a recent interview with Seth Rollins. One of the topics discussed included Rollins’ thoughts about him currently having an end date for his in-ring wrestling career and it being when he turns 45 years old.

“I’ll be 39 in May. 45, maybe, really sounds alright to me. It’s kind of going to depend on what I do in the next few years as far as outside of WWE or behind the scenes in WWE. Both of those things are appealing to me. Just have to figure out what that feels like. I feel good right now. I feel very good.”

Thursday’s event for Lucha Libre Rebelión in Barcelona, Spain featured NXT talent Axiom making a surprise appearance under his former maskless character of A-Kid. Besides Axiom, Kevin Owens was also seen in attendance at the event.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE had made multiple staff cuts within their production departments around the same time as this past Friday’s batch of talent releases.

As noted before, SmackDown brand ring announcer Lillian Garcia filled in for Mike Rome as the ring announcer for the March 4th WWE NXT show. Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that the reason why Rome was absent from that week’s show was due to personal-related reasons.

Fightful Select also reported that their sources stated that NXT talent Roxanne Perez is currently expected be officially called up to WWE’s RAW or SmackDown brand following this past Tuesday’s NXT Roadblock 2025 show. It was reported that Perez’s match against Jordynne Grace on the show was her last scheduled match on NXT for the time being.

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan reportedly was involved in an incident at a promotional event for his Real American Beer brand this past Wednesday in Montgomery, Alabama, according to News 12 Hudson Valley. It was reported that Hogan had been advertised to do a fan meet-and-greet at the event but instead he abruptly left before it took place. It was reported that several of those who had attended this meet-and-greet stated that they had waited hours in line only to be stranded by Hogan’s actions. This incident reportedly also resulted in several kids crying when they were told by their parents that Hogan would not be showing up for the promised fan portion of the event.

WWE recently revealed the next match in their on-going countdown of their Top 50 matches in WrestleMania history. The 35th spot was the WWE Championship match of Kofi Kingston vs. Daniel Bryan from WrestleMania 35.

WWE also recently released two new videos to their WWE Vault channel on YouTube. The first new video was a “CM Punk documentary extras and Easter eggs: From the WWE Vault.” The second new video was a Falls Count Anywhere match of “Macho Man” Randy Savage vs. Crush from WWE WrestleMania X.

WWE also recently released two new videos to their NXT Vault channel on YouTube. The first new video was NXT North American Championship Triple Threat match of Dijak vs. Josh Briggs vs. Oba Femi (c) from WWE NXT Stand & Deliver 2024. The second new video was the full January 1, 2014 episode of WWE NXT.

In a recent interview with the Daily Mail, Jey Uso gave his thoughts about him not caring if his match against Gunther for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship opens or closes either night of WrestleMania 41. Uso stated “WrestleMania, night one or night two, whichever match I’m on. I don’t care if I’m on last, I don’t care if I open it up. I’m going to go out there and they’re going to remember my match, so that’s all I’m focused on. This is a once-in-a-lifetime shot. That’s how I’m looking at it, because this might not ever, ever come back around in my career.
