Jey Uso Comments on WrestleMania 41 Being “Do or Die” Moment for His Singles Wrestling Career
CBS Sports held a recent interview with Jey Uso. One of the topics discussed included Uso’s thoughts about his upcoming match against Gunther for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41 and it being a “do or die” moment to prove his detractors wrong about his singles wrestling career.
“This is do or die for me. I feel like I am doubted a lot. A lot of people are doubting me right now, Uce. I’m not supposed to be in this position. I know that. They know that. But I’m going to shut them all up.”
Uso also gave his thoughts about his upcoming match against Gunther also being a chance at redemption time after his lackluster match at last year’s WrestleMania 40 event.
“I always thought we put on great matches. If you look at it, we had great matches with The Wyatt Family, The Shield, The New Day. Now, I feel like I’ve had a couple of good matches but not ones that stick in people’s minds. This is redemption time on the big stage. The pressure is on.”
