Charlotte Flair Picks Tiffany Stratton & WWE Women’s Title Match Set for WWE WrestleMania 41

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. featured one new match announced for the card of WrestleMania 41, which takes place on April 19-20 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This new match announced was a WWE Women’s Championship match of Charlotte Flair vs. Tiffany Stratton (c).

This match was initially setup following Flair winning this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble match and her interaction with Stratton during last week’s show over her decision on which Women’s Champion she will pick for her title match at WrestleMania 41.

Following Stratton’s disqualification victory over Nia Jax to retain her WWE Women’s title on tonight’s show, Jax and Candice LeRae attacked Stratton leading to Trish Stratus who was watching the show at ringside to run into the ring and tried to save Stratton to no avail. As Jax and LeRae were leaving, Flair’s music played and made her way to the ring. Flair grabbed a chair and sat next to Stratton. After some insults, Flair stated that she picks Stratton and her title for her match at WrestleMania 41.
