Yuya Uemura Makes Surprise Return at NJPW The New Beginning in Osaka 2025

Tuesday’s The New Beginning in Osaka for New Japan Pro Wrestling in Osaka, Japan featured Yuya Uemura making his surprise return from injury.

Following SANADA cheating his way to victory over Taichi on the show, SANADA and Taiji Ishimori attacked Taichi leading to TAKA Michinoku trying to save Taichi to no avail. This led to Uemura running out to save his fellow Just 4 Guys mates and cleared the ring of SANADA and Ishimori.

Uemura then grabbed a microphone and challenged SANADA to a match in the future whenever SANADA accepts.

This was Uemura’s first appearance in NJPW since this past September due to a torn triceps injury.

Tucker Comments on His FormerWrestling Career & Reason for His Retirement

KPTV held a recent interview with former WWE wrestler Tucker Knight, real name Levi Cooper. One of the topics discussed included Knight’s thoughts about his former professional wrestling career and the reason for his decision to retire from wrestling in 2023 and pursue a new career as the head wrestling coach at Skyview High School in Vancouver, Washington.

“Traveling before I had kids was 95 percent fun, but after I had my daughter it became really difficult emotionally. I wasn’t prepared for how difficult that was going to be. It was a cool way to spend my 20s, man. It was a really special thing to get to do. It really is an art form. It encompasses a ton of stuff. You know, you’re like a live-action stunt performer basically that’s trying to tell a story with your body without words. It’s like, the outcome is pre-determined but go fall over outside on a mat that’s this thick [and do it] repeatedly. It takes its toll, it’s a full-on lifestyle.”
