As noted before, Danhausen and Bandido made their surprise returns to Ring of Honor at Final Battle 2024 earlier this month. Bandido’s return from a broken wrist injury resulted in him suffering a setback to him suffering a concussion injury following a botched springboard dropkick spot to Chris Jericho.
Figthful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported in a recent Q&A article that his sources stated that AEW and ROH officials had planned to give Bandido a big push for his return to ROH. Bandido reportedly was planned to begin a feud with Jericho for the ROH World Championship. Those plans were dropped for the time being due to Bandido’s latest injury situation.
In regards to Danhausen, Sapp reported that those spoken to stated that Danhausen was received warmly backstage and most of the talents were happy to see that he had returned.
