AEW: Adam Copeland Will Ospreay Thanks Fans for How Much They’ve Helped Him Grow as a Wrestler & Man, New Matches and Segment Set for 12/21 Christmas Collision Show

Adam Copeland Fractured Tibia Injury & AEW Return Plans Status Update

As noted before, Adam Copeland has been out of action for AEW since this past May’s Double or Nothing 2024 event due to a fractured tibia injury and surgery. Copeland was recently medically cleared for physicality but is not expected to return to AEW until early 2025 due to his current filming commitment.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Copeland is currently expected to make his return from injury “imminently.”

It was reported that many within AEW expect Copeland to be back on AEW television by the January 1, 2025 Dynamite Fight for the Fallen 2025 show due to it taking place in Asheville, North Carolina since that is where Copeland currently resides.

It was also reported that AEW officials currently are planning to make this upcoming show a “big one” due to it being their first simulcast on MAX and TBS.

Will Ospreay Comments on Him Thanking the Fans for How Much They’ve Helped Him Grow as a Wrestler & as a Man

Will Ospreay recently reflected on Twitter thanking the fans for how much they have helped him grow as a wrestler for his wrestling career and as a man for real life.

“Wanted to take this tweet to tell you all how extremely grateful I am being able to do the things that I do.

I have a constant fear of letting you all down because I’ve done it so often.

“We all fail at the people we are meant to be” has followed me since I got my first deal.

31 years old from the Essex, England. I cannot believe how lucky I am to be in this position where I wrestle on @TBSNetwork / @tntsports for @AEW.

Whether you’re locked into our product or not I appreciate any feedback, criticism or support that can help me improve as a performer.

In my feels today but you never know when you’ll take your last bump so I’d just like to say to you all.

Thank you so much for being such a big part of my growth as a wrestler and as a man.
