Unholy Union Makes Surprise Appearance on Tuesday’s NXT Show

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium featured the Unholy Union’s Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn making a surprise return appearance to NXT.

During the show, Shotzi, Tatum Paxley, & Gigi Dolin were seen backstage playing with Tatum’s dolls and taking about their recent issues with Fatal Influence. In a follow-up segment, Fatal Influence were seen backstage watching the television and responded to what Shotzi and her pals said about them. Fatal Influence mocked Shotzi, Paxley, and Dolin for not having what they have as a group, which Fallon Henley revealed was a championship belt. This led to Unholy Union making a surprise appearance and showed up to interrupt. Unholy Union stated “new name, same attitude.” Dawn stated that there is a lack of unity in Fatal Influence and Fyre responded stating she sees harmony when she looks at her and Isla. This led to Fatal Influence responding back insulting Frye and Alba.

Unholy Union’s surprise appearance was part of WWE’s ongoing transfer window period for their RAW, SmackDown, and NXT brands.

“All Ego” Ethan Page Pulls “Lost His Smile” Swerve Attack on Je’Von Evans on Tuesday’s NXT Show

Tuesday’s NXT show also featured “All Ego” Ethan Page announcing that he has “lost his smile” for his wrestling career only to reveal it was just a swerve and trap for Je’Von Evans.

This was initially setup over recent weeks shows involving Page being sad and questioning his future in NXT and wrestling career following him losing the NXT Championship.

During tonight’s show, Page was seen several times looking disheveled and walking around backstage. Page later came out to the ring in a somber mood and stated that he is sorry and just needs to get this off his mind. After some words, Page talked about how nobody understands the promises he made to his family, which was him telling his daughter he would win the big one and he did it in NXT. Page then talked about how he won the NXT Championship in records time and faster than Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and Finn Balor. Page stated he fought for 18 years to keep his promise to his daughter and he did it for his daughter, son, and wife. After some more words praising his wife for being the reason for him getting to live his dream and him standing in this ring, Page talked about how every time he loses, she loses, his son loses, and his daughter loses. After some more somber words about his daughter being sad he no longer has the NXT title and being shown videos of his son crying, Page stated that he sees the disappointment in his wife’s eyes and that is eating him alive. Page then stated that he doesn’t know if he loves this any more and said he “lost his smile.”

This led to Evans coming out to interrupt and stated that he apologized for what he said back there about him. Evans then talked about how it doesn’t feel bad hearing about other people’s accomplishments. Evans talked about how ever since Page has been here, all we have heard is what you have done and came in here with that cocky ego. After some more words talking about Page’s family, Evans praised Page stating that the joy Page had when you saw your family after winning the NXT title was no regular smile. Evans stated that it was a proud dad smile, a proud husband smile, and someone who has busted their ass for 18 years to get where they had to be. After some more words of encouragement, Evans stated that we don’t want to see All Ego, we want to see the real Ethan Page. Evans then stated that he is proud of him and everyone is proud of him.

Page responded thanking Evans and stated that he is right. Page stated that everything you said made it clear to him. Page then stated that he shouldn’t be worried about losing his smile, he should be worried about taking yours. Page then struck Evans laying him out and left the ring to grab a chair. Page then went back into the ring and placed the chair around Evans’ neck and proceeded to stomp on it. This resulted in Evans clutching his neck and head in pain and blood coming out of his mouth. This led to NXT officials coming out to attend to Evans while Page posed and taunted in the background.

Current Card for Next Week’s NXT Show

Tuesday’s NXT show also featured two new matches announced for teh card of next week’s show on December 24th.

This show will be taped on December 17th as part of a double set of NXT tapings in Lowell, Massachusetts.

These matches were setup following promo segments, storyline angles, and match card graphics throughout the show.
