Hammerstone Pulled from Final Resolution Due to Injury
Friday’s Final Resolution 2024 event for TNA Wrestling at the Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia featured the announcement of Hammerstone being pulled from his scheduled Three-way tag team match on the show due to him not being medically cleared to compete due to him dealing with an injury.
In a backstage interview segment, Gia Miller asked Jake Something what he intends to do for his scheduled Three-way tag team match now that his partner is out of action. Something responded back stating that he will do it on his own then.

No other details were given regarding Hammerstone’s injury.
Tessa Blanchard Makes Surprise Return to TNA
Friday’s TNA Final Resolution 2024 event also featured Tessa Blanchard making her surprise return to TNA Wrestling.
Near the end of the match between Jordynne Grace and Rosemary on the show, Grace attempted a near fall on Rosemary only for it to be broken up after a mystery hooded person ran out from teh crowd and yanked the referee out of the ring. This mystery person then attacked the referee laying her out and proceeded to do the same to Grace. After laying out Grace, this mystery person unzipped their jacket and took off their mask revealing herself to be Blanchard and left to the back.

In a follow-up segment, Gia Miller attempted to get an interview with Blanchard backstage asking her to explain her actions. Blanchard responded by shoving Miller into the wall and stated that she’s back to get what’s rightfully hers and proceeded to leave the venue.

This was Blanchard’s first appearance in TNA since April of 2020 and her firing from the company in June of 2020 due to backstage related issues over her refusal to work for the company and relinquish the TNA World Championship, known as the Impact World Championship at the time.
Joe Hendry vs. Nic Nemeth for TNA World Title Set for TNA Genesis 2025
Friday’s TNA Final Resolution 2024 show also featured Joe Hendry defeating Josh Alexander, Steve Maclin, and Mike Santana in a Four-way match to become the new #1 Contender for the TNA World Championship.

As a result of his victory, Hendry will be officially challenging Nic Nemeth for the TNA World title at TNA Genesis 2025, which takes place on January 19, 2025 at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas.
