Bronson Reed Right Ankle Injury Update

As noted before, Bronson Reed suffered an injury during the Men’s WarGames match at this past Saturday’s WWE Survivor Series WarGames 2024 event in Vancouver, British Colombia, Canada.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that the word making the rounds among WWE talents is that Reed will be undergoing surgery sometime next week for his ankle injury.

Johnson reported that due to Reed’s injury, WWE is expected to make changes to the cards for their post-Christmas holiday week house show events. Reed reportedly had been scheduled to face off against Seth Rollins in Steel Cage matches at these events.

A timetable for Reed’s potential in-ring return from injury is currently not known.

Additionally, Raw, SmackDown, NXT and WWE live events will emanate from arenas across Indiana including Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, and Evansville throughout the partnership.

Since its inception in 1979, Indiana Sports Corp has hosted more than 500 national and international sporting events including Super Bowl XLVI, the College Football Playoff National Championship, 11 Men’s & Women’s NCAA Final Fours, and 14 Big Ten Football Championship Games. Royal Rumble streams live in the U.S. exclusively on Peacock beginning at 6pm ET/3 pm PT.

Vince McMahon Sex Trafficking Lawsuit Update – Stay on Lawsuit Set to Expire Next Week

As noted before, former WWE employee Janel Grant filed a lawsuit this past January against former TKO Executive Chairman Vince McMahon accusing McMahon of committing sex trafficking and sexual abuse towards her during her time in the company. Grant’s lawsuit has been on hold since this past April due to the U.S. Department of Justice launching a criminal investigation into McMahon and joined the lawsuit as an “interested party.”

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that the stay on the lawsuit against WWE, McMahon, and John Laurinaitis is currently scheduled to expire on December 11th and the case will become active again and can move forward.

Johnson reported that this expiration date could potentially be pushed back should the Connecticut District Court end up issuing a ruling to extend the stay if the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York were to request for it to be done.
