Taz Total Knee Replacement Surgery Status Update

As noted before, AEW commentator Taz has been absent from AEW since this past October due to total knee replacement surgery and recovery.

Taz provided an update on Wednesday on Twitter stating that his recovery from surgery has been going really well.


Hologram Undisclosed Injury Status Update

As noted before, Hologram has been out of action for AEW since this past October due to an undisclosed injury he suffered at AEW’s WrestleDream 2024 event.

Fightful Select reported that their sources within stated that Hologram had suffered a serious ankle injury. Those spoken to reportedly stated that AEW officials had originally believed that Hologram’s injury was minor until later discovering that it was a serious injury instead.

It was reported that AEW officials had planned for Hologram to be a major part of AEW’s new television deal in Mexico but those plans have been put on hold due to his injury.

It was also reported that a timetable for Hologram’s return from injury is currently not known.


New Match Announced for This Friday’s AEW Rampage Show

AEW announced one new match for the card of this Friday’s AEW Rampage show on TNT.

This new match announced was a tag team match of The Vendetta (Deonna Purrazzo & Taya Valkyrie) vs. mystery opponents.
