Anna Jay vs. Mercedes Mone for TBS Title Set for Dec. 18 AEW Dynamite Holiday Bash 2024 Show
Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show also featured one new match announced for the card of Dynamite Holiday Bash 2024 show, which takes place on December 18th at the Entertainment & Sports Arena in Washington, D.C.
This new match announced was a TBS Championship match of Anna Jay vs. Mercedes Mone (c).
This match was initially setup over recent weeks shows over Jay calling out Mone for a title shot and Mone’s issues with Jay. During tonight’s show, Jay called out Mone once again following her victory over Penelope Ford. This led to Mone coming out and after some words, Mone stated that if Jay wants to challenge for her title, then she can come back in ten years when she’s done something to earn it. This led to Jay responding back asking if this helps and proceeded to slap Mone. This then led to Mone preparing to get in a brawl with Jay over what she just did only to have second thoughts and checked her watch motioning that she does not have the time for this and left the ring. Afterwards it was announced that this match will be taking place at AEW’s Holiday Bash 2024 show in two weeks.
