Shinsuke Nakamura Debuts New Remixed Entrance Song on Friday’s WWE SmackDown Show

Friday’s taped WWE SmackDown show in Salt Lake City, Utah featured Shinsuke Nakamura debuting a new remixed version of his entrance theme song.

Nakamura debuted his new song during his entrance for his match against Andrade on the show, which was won by Nakamura.

CM Punk Reveals Reason for Joining OG Bloodline’s WarGames Team & Teases Favor Owed to Him by Paul Heyman

Friday’s taped WWE SmackDown show also featured CM Punk revealing his reason for joining the OG Bloodline’s WarGames team and teased being owed a favor by Paul Heyman.

During the show, Heyman and Roman Reigns were seen at a table waiting for Punk. Reigns asked Heyman where Punk is since he is late for their meeting, which Heyman responded stating that he does not known. This led to Reigns becoming more upset and attempted to leave only for Punk to show up. Punk stated that he showed up for Heyman and not him, which Reigns responded back stating that he doesn’t need his help and he is only here for Paul as well. After some more angry words directed towards Punk by Reigns, Heyman talked about how Solo Sikoa has had them in checkmate since WrestleMania 40 and they need help. Heyman then told Punk that if he does not come out the winner, then Sikoa will come after him next and being united at best they survive.

Punk responded stating that he does not like Reigns and he wants revenge and if they survive WarGames, he is all ears to revisit their discussion. Punk then stated “one time, one favor” which led to Reigns questioning Punk’s demand. Punk responded stating that Roman does not owe him a favor but Heyman will owe him the favor. Punk then got up and left. Reigns asked Heyman about this favor demand Punk mentioned, which Heyman responded stating “lets get through WarGames and then they will have all the time to talk about it.”

Michin Advances in WWE Women’s US Title Tournament

Friday’s taped WWE SmackDown show also featured one First Round match for the WWE Women’s United States Championship tournament to crown its inaugural champion.

This was a Triple Threat match of Michin defeating Piper Niven and Lash Legend.

As a result of her victory, Michin will be facing off against the winner of Naomi/Tiffany Stratton/Elektra Lopez in the Semifinal Round of WWE’s Women’s United States Championship tournament.

Jacob Fatu Wins Men’s WarGames Advantage

Fridays taped WWE SmackDown show also featured Jacob Fatu defeating Jey Uso in a Men’s WarGames match.

As a result of Fatu’s victory, Solo Sikoa’s The Bloodline team earned the advantage for the Men’s WarGames match at this Saturday’s Survivor Series WarGames 2024 event in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
