- On the topic of WWE’s new WWE ID program, Khan stated “It’s interesting. I don’t really know how it’s going to work. I understand there is some kind of first right or refusal aspect of it. We haven’t come up where it’s been a conflict yet. I do think it’s going to affect the independent scene in some ways. We’ve had a really great experience here over the years bringing in young wrestlers. Through the pandemic, the best place for independent wrestlers to get work was at AEW and on AEW Dark and Elevation.“
- Khan continued talking about how AEW’s AEW Dark system was beneficial to AEW and indies wrestlers especially during the pandemic era. Khsn stated “The women and men in AEW, we’ve seen so many great wrestlers work their way up from the independents, we’ve signed big free agents, and we have a lot of homegrown day-one people. It’s a great mix. I expect we’ll keep signing great talent off the independents. I do think it’s a different mechanism. It’s something to keep an eye on. It hasn’t created major conflicts or anything yet, but I imagine it will definitely influence the independent wrestling scene. It’s definitely something to keep an eye on.“
- On the topic of Jon Moxley’s recent comments to the New York Post about his vision for AEW going forward, Khan stated that Moxley wanting to help younger talent was the greatest thing in the world. Khan also praised Moxley stating that every time he has been champion, it has been good for the company. Khan called Moxley “one of the most important people” in the company.
- On the topic of Ricky Starks’ current absence and Kenny Omega’s absence and recovery from diverticulitis, Khan stated for people to keep an eye in the future regarding them. Khan also put over AEW’s upcoming co-promoted Wrestle Dynasty event and Omega working at that show. Khan also praised both Starks and Omega for being great champions in AEW.
- On the topic of the usage of “November Rain” by Guns N’Roses to help promote this year’s Full Gear event, Khan sated that this would be the first time that Guns N’Roses has been properly compensated for using it in wrestling. Khan also confirmed that the music video they created would always be in the AEW library in perpetuity. Khan also stated that they will be using the song again this week to promote the fallout from Full Gear and start of the Continental Classic 2024 tournament.
