The Acclaimed’s Dissension Issues Grows at AEW Full Gear 2024
Saturday’s AEW Full Gear 2024 event also featured The Acclaimed’s growing dissension issues between the two and a potential future breakup as a team.
Prior to the start of the AEW World Tag Team Championship Four-way match, The Acclaimed came out with Billy Gunn for their entrance. Max Caster gave his usual pre-match diss rap but instead of ending with his usual catchphrase of “everyone loves The Acclaimed, Caster ended his speech calling himself the best wrestler alive and then chucked the microphone at Bowens. This led to an upset Bowens having to walk over where Caster threw the microphone and after some time, he finished with the usual “scissor me, daddy” catchphrase routine to Gunn.

Throughout the match, Caster and Bowens ended up having several miscommunication issues leading to Bowens growing frustrated at Caster’s antics and Gunn also doing the same to Caster. These issues eventually led to The Acclaimed not being able to hit their The Arrival & Mic Drop combo to Isiah Kassidy and cost themselves the match after Caster got hit with Private Party’s Gin & Juice finisher.
Mariah May Turns on Mina Shirakawa & Gets Beaten Up in Return at AEW Full Gear 2024
Saturday’s AEW Full Gear 2024 event also featured “The Glamour” Mariah May turning on Mina Shirakawa and ending their longtime friendship in the process.

May stated that there is not a single woman alive who can touch her and thanked Shirakawa stating that she couldn’t have done this without her. The two then proceeded to have a champagne toast and Shirakawa saying “long may she reign” in praise of May. This led to May stating it was time to celebrating resulting in music playing and the two dancing but as Shirakawa turned her back, May grabbed a champagne bottle and attempted to attack May who dodged it and kicked the bottle shattering it. Shirakawa then rushed at May and tackled her off the stage causing both to crash through a table.
