More on AEW Dynamite Viewership for November 13th
The November 13th episode of AEW Dynamite saw AEW gain a very large increase in overall viewership and a large increase in key demographic ratings and key demographic rankings.
AEW drew 666,000 viewers and a 0.22 key demographic rating on TBS. AEW’s key demographic ranking for that night was #10 place.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the main reasons for AEW’s increases this week was due to the large increases from their younger key demographic viewership group, which was up 170% compared to last week’s show, and their older key demographic viewership group, which its percentage was not given. This reportedly offset the decline from their younger male key demographic group, which was down 18% compared to last week’s show. Meltzer reported that AEW’s lead-in Big Bang Theory drew 1,045,000 viewers and a 0.18 rating, which was one of the stronger lead-ins for a Dynamite show in a while.
In terms of head-to-head competition, the NBA game of New Orleans Pelicans vs. Oklahoma City Thunder drew 1,082,000 viewers on ESPN, the NHL game of Detroit Red Wings vs. Pittsburgh Penguins drew 354,000 viewers on TNT, and the College football game of Eastern Michigan vs. Ohio drew 381,000 viewers on ESPN2, Survivor drew 4,429,000 viewers on CBS, The Challenge drew 419,000 viewers on MTV, Expedition Unknown drew 866,000 viewers on Discovery Channel, Sistas Series drew 800,000 viewers on BET, and Real Housewives of Salt Lake City drew 381,000 viewers on BRAVO.
In terms of key demographic viewership, AEW had 289,000 viewers. AEW’s Males 18-34 had 50,000 viewers (down 18%), Females 18-34 had 27,000 viewers (up 170%), Males 35-49 had 148,000 viewers (up 55.8%), and Females 35-49 had 64,000 viewers (up 30.6%). Meltzer reported that AEW’s males/female viewership split was 68.5% in favor of males.
In terms of yearly comparisons, AEW was down 19.1% in overall viewership and down 21.5% in key demographic viewership. Meltzer reported that AEW’s 18-34 key demographic viewership was down 38.9% compared to the same week last year.

The November 8th episode of AEW Rampage saw AEW gain a large increase in overall viewership and a slight increase in key demographic ratings.
AEW drew 237,000 viewers and a 0.07 key demographic rating on TNT. AEW’s key demographic ranking for that night was outside of the top 25.
Dave Meltzer reported that the main reason for AEW’s increases that week was due to the large increase from their overall key demographic viewership group, which was up 32.4% compared to the prior week’s show. Of the increase from AEW’s overall key demographic viewership group, their younger key demographic viewership group was up 22.2% compared to the prior week’s show.
In terms of notable head-to-head competition, the College football game of Iowa vs. UCLA drew 1,891,000 viewers on FOX, the NBA game of Phoenix Suns vs. Dallas Mavericks drew 1,305,000 viewers on ESPN, NASCAR Trucks Racing drew 480,000 viewers on FS1, Scare Tactics drew 379,000 viewers on USA Network, 90 Day Fiance drew 343,000 viewers on TLC, and On Patrol Live drew 685,000 viewers on REELZ Channel.
In terms of key demographic viewership, AEW had 90,000 viewers. AEW’s 18-34 had 12,000 viewers (down 7.7%), Females 18-34 had 10,000 viewers (up 100%), Males 35-49 had 44,000 viewers (up 15.8%), and Females 35-49 had 24,000 viewers (up 100%). Meltzer reported that AEW’s males/female viewership split was 62.2% in favor of males.
In terms of yearly comparisons, AEW was down 26.4% in overall viewership and down 41.9% in key demographic viewership. Meltzer reported that AEW’s 18-34 key demographic viewership was down 60.7% compared to the same week last year.

The November 9th episode of AEW Collision saw AEW gain a slight increase in key demographic ratings but suffered a small decline in overall viewership.
AEW drew 332,000 viewers and a 0.10 key demographic rating on TNT. AEW’s key demographic ranking for that night was #22 place.
Dave Meltzer reported that the main reason for AEW’s mixed results that week was due to the large declines from their Over 50 demographic viewership, which its percentage was not given, and older male key demographic viewership group, which was down 4.5% compared to the prior week’s show. This reportedly mostly offset the increases from their younger key demographic viewership and older female key demographic viewership groups, which were up 54.8% and up 9.1% respectively compared to the prior week’s show.
In terms of notable head-to-head competition, the College football game of Alabama vs. LSU drew 7,904,000 viewers on ABC, the College football game of Florida State vs. Notre Dame drew 2,186,000 viewers on NBC, the College football game of Nevada vs. Boise State drew 1,533,000 viewers on FOX, the College football game of Mississippi State vs. Tennessee drew 1,596,000 viewers on ESPN, the College football game of Maryland vs. Oregon drew 817,000 viewers on Big Ten Network, the College football game of Iowa State vs. Kansas drew 720,000 viewers on FS1, the NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship race drew 1,113,000 viewers on The CW, and On Patrol Live drew 548,000 viewers on REELZ Channel.
In terms of key demographic viewership, AEW had 135,000 viewers. AEW’s Males 18-34 had 36,000 viewers (up 80%), Females 18-34 had 12,000 viewers (up 9.1%), Males 35-49 had 63,000 viewers (down 4.5%), and Females 35-49 had 24,000 viewers (up 9.1%). Meltzer reported that AEW’s males/female viewership split was 73.3% in favor of males.
In terms of yearly comparisons, AEW was down 16.2% in overall viewership and down 3.6% in key demographic viewership. Meltzer reported that AEW’s 18-34 viewership was down 2% compared to the same week last year.
