Lio Rush Teases Joining Hurt Syndicate on Saturday’s AEW Collision Show

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show in Providence, Rhode Island featured Lio Rush teasing him potentially joining The Hurt Syndicate in the future.

During the show, Rush was seen backstage and talked about a shifting happening in AEW and everyone being involved. Rush stated that his past was creeping up on him and forcing him to make a decision. This led to RUSH pulling out MVP’s card from his jacket and stated that this was a golden ticket to do business with people the way he used to agree with. Rush then talked about his current two match winning streak and issued a challenge to Swerve Strickland for a match at next week’s Dynamite show. It was announced afterwards that this match was made official for the show.


The Outrunners Advance to AEW Tag Titles Four-way Match at Full Gear 2024

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show also featured The Outrunners (Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd) defeating Top Flight (Darius & Dante Martin) in an AEW World Tag Team Championship Contender Series match.

As a result of their victory, The Outrunners advanced to the Four-way match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship at AEW Full Gear 2024.


Daniel Garcia vs. Jack Perry for TNT Title Set for AEW Full Gear 2024

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show also featured one new match announced for the card of AEW Full Gear 2024, which takes place on November 23rd at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

This new match announced was a TNT Championship match of Daniel Garcia vs. Jack Perry (c).

This match was initially setup over recent weeks shows over Garcia and Perry’s issues with each other. During tonight’s show, Perry defeated Action Andretti in an Open Challenge match to retain his TNT Championship. This led to Garcia coming out and after some words by Garcia talking about their current issues and how he is not like him, Garcia issued a challenge to Perry for his title at Full Gear, which Perry accepted.

It was announced afterwards that this match was made official for the show.

Julia Hart Makes Surprise Return on Saturday’s AEW Collision Show

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show also featured Julia Hart making a surprise return appearance to AEW.

During the show, a video aired featuring a cheerleader version of Hart shown on a football field doing cheerleading stuff. This led to a House of Black version of Hart appearing in the stand and pulled out a bow and shot an arrow at cheerleader Hart killing him. Hart then suddenly woke up in her bed and gave a scared reaction over the nightmare she just had.

This was Hart’s first appearance in AEW since this past April due to a shoulder injury.


New Matches & Segments Announced for Next Week’s AEW Dynamite Show

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show also featured two new matches, one newly updated match, and three new segments announced for the card of next week’s AEW Dynamite show on November 13th at the Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

In regards to the new matches, the first new match announced was a singles match of Lio Rush vs. Swerve Strickland.

The second new match announced was a Falls Count Anywhere match of Roderick Strong vs. Lance Archer.

One newly updated match was also announced. This newly updated match was a singles match of Britt Baker vs. Penelope Ford.

In regards to the new segments, the first new segment announced was Jon Moxley making an appearance and “seizes the TBS SuperStation.”

Other segments announced included both Will Ospreay and Bobby Lashley to make an appearance and to speak at the show.
