I have missed you guys and I will say that when my music hit and I came out in Philadelphia, I was not prepared for the love. I feel like this massive wall came through me with this rush and this energy. I thank you so much.”

Becky Lynch WWE Contract Status Rumor Killer

As noted before, Becky Lynch’s contract with WWE expired this past June and she is currently on a break from wrestling but is believed to be returning to WWE in the future.

Fightful Select reported that their sources denied a recent report from former WWE interviewer Jonathan Coachman about Lynch had been asking for a lot more money than WWE was willing to give for a potential new contract. Coachman had reported in a recent episode of Sportskeeda’s Backstage Pass that Lynch had asked for around $2 million per year and claimed WWE didn’t do it because if they had paid her, then she would be back by now.

Those spoken to reportedly stated that Lynch and WWE are on good terms and WWE officials respects Lynch’s decision to take time off from her wrestling career. Those spoken to reportedly stated that if Lynch wanted to sign a new deal before her absence, they likely would have done that.

In regards to the rumored monetary demands, those spoken to reportedly also stated that the $2 million per year figure was something Lynch did not ask for but had she did, WWE officials would have jumped at that number for a new deal. It was reported that Lynch’s new deal would be well beyond $2 million per year for monetary amount.
