The Acclaimed Tease Growing Dissension Issues on Saturday’s AEW Collision Show
Saturday’s AEW Collision show in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania featured The Acclaimed’s Anthony Bowens and Max Caster teasing growing dissension between the two and a potential future breakup as a team.
This dissension was originally setup over recent weeks shows over Caster becoming more egotistic over his claims about being the “best wrestler in the world” and him recently accepting a business card from MVP while Caster wants nothing to do with MVP and his new group.
During tonight’s show, The Acclaimed were seen backstage for an interview with Renee Paquette. Bowens congratulated Private Party on their recent AEW World Tag Team Championship victory and stated don’t let let that fool you since the best tag team in AEW will be coming after you. Before Bowens was able to finish, Caster interrupted resulting in Bowens giving an upset look. Caster talked about how they have a lot in common but Private Party does not have the best wrestler on their team, which led to Caster turning around and showing off his “best wrestler in the world” jacket to Bowens displeasure. Caster then stated that the fans have not even taken to them yet and if they fans loved them, then they would have their very own friendship bracelets, which Caster proceeded to pull out from his pocket to Bowens surprised reaction. Caster then pulled out a big wad of cash and stated that was something Private Party didn’t have either, which led to Bowens noticing a card inside the money and questioned Caster why he still has MVP’s business card. Caster responded ignoring the question and stated Private Party hasn’t gotten a business offer from MVP either. Before Caster could finish, Bowens interrupted him resulting in Caster giving an upset reaction and Bowens finished with his own catchphrase to end the interview.
