Nicholas Jackson Reportedly Dealing with Shoulder Injury
This past Wednesday’s AEW Fright Night Dynamite show featured Private Party defeating The Young Bucks to become the new AEW World Tag Team Champions. In follow-up segments, the Young Bucks were seen in their locker room with Brandon Cutler and Kazuchika Okada shredding papers and being concerned over something unknown and later left the venue saying they would be “working at home” due to AEW scene being too chaotic.
The Wrestling Observer’s Bryan Alvarez reported in his AEW Dynamite Recap report that his sources stated that the Young Bucks’ Nicholas Jackson has been dealing with a separated shoulder injury for the past several weeks.
No other details were given regarding how or when the injury had happened.
Bandido Broken Wrist Injury Status Update
As noted before, Bandido has been out of action for AEW since June of 2023 due to a broken wrist injury.
Dave Meltzer reported in a recent episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio that his sources confirmed that Bandido has been medically cleared for an in-ring return and is ready to return at any time.
Meltzer reported that those spoken to also confirmed that Bandido was in attendance backstage at last week’s AEW Dynamite show in Salt Lake City, Utah but it is currently not known if he was in attendance during last night’s Fright Night Dynamite show in Cleveland, Ohio.
Wardlow AEW Absence Status Update
As noted before, Wardlow has been noticeably absent from AEW in recent months that was later revealed to be due to a knee injury.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Wardlow was in attendance backstage during Wednesday’s AEW Fright Night Dynamite show in Cleveland, Ohio. Johnson reported that Wardlow was described as looking healthy backstage.
Johnson reported that it is currently not known when Wardlow will be making his return to AEW programming.
