Bubba Ray Dudley Makes Appearance on Tuesday’s NXT Show

Tuesday’s NXT show at WWE’s Performance Center featured WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley, also known as Bully Ray in TNA/Impact and the indies, making an appearance.

During the show, NXT Champion Trick Williams came out to the ring and grabbed a microphone and talked about his victory over Ethan Page in a Devil’s Playground match to retain his title and the pain Page left him in. Williams then talked about Ridge Holland’s attack on him after and there is one reason why he is not in the hospital. Williams stated that he wants to talk to Bubba Ray Dudley.

This led to Dudley’s music playing and him coming out to the ring. Williams thanked Dudley for having his back at Halloween Havoc 2024 and Dudley stated that he was doing the right thing so he doesn’t have to thank him. Dudley then talked about Holland disrespecting him and his partner and to his Busted Open Radio show. After some more words, Dudley stated that the reason why nobody else came out to save Williams was due to him holding the NXT title. Dudley stated that Williams is what they aspire to be and that might as well be a target and bullseye for him and for him to have eyes in the back of his head. After some words by Williams, Williams stated that he wants a tag team match against Ethan Page and Ridge Holland next week and asked Dudley to be his tag partner. This led to Dudley getting fired up over the idea and after some thought, he told Williams that he can’t accept the offer. Dudley stated that it is not about him but it is about you and every other wrestler in the locker room who do it better than anyone else. Dudley stated that he can’t take their spot for his reason for declining the offer. Dudley then walked away and left the ring.

In a follow-up segment, Page came out to the ring for a promo only to be interrupted by Holland. After some words, Holland talked about his issues with Dudley which led to Dudley’s music playing interrupting him and made his way out to the ring. Following a heated banter between the two, a brawl broke out that led to Holland & Page getting the numbers advantage over Dudley. This led to Williams running out to save Dudley and cleared the ring of Page & Holland. Dudley grabbed the microphone and brought up Williams tag match offer from earlier and accepted being his partner. This match was later made official for next week’s show.

Rob Van Dam Makes Surprise Appearance on Tuesday’s NXT Show

Tuesday’s NXT show also featured ECW legend Rob Van Dam making a surprise appearance.

During the show, NXT General Manager Ava was seen backstage and talked to someone off-screen about how it was a shame that Bubba Ray Dudley turned down Trick Williams tag team match offer since that was something she was wanting to see next week. Ava then asked the person off-screen what they thought about it, which led to the camera panning revealing RVD. RVD stated that Dudley might not want to be part of the show next week, but he knows someone who wants to be part of the show .. Rob Van Dam. Ava responded asking RVD what he can do.

Nunzio Makes Surprise Appearance on Tuesday’s NXT Show

Tuesday’s NXT show also featured ECW legend Little Guido, also known as Nunzio in WWE, making a surprise offscreen appearance.

During the show, the Tony D’Angelo Family were seen backstage. Shawn Spears and Brooks Jesen went up to D’Angelo asking what is next for him only to get quickly interrupted by Luca Crusifino and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo. Crusifino told D’Angelo that he has an important voicemail to listen, which was revealed to be Nunzio talking about how much he has been disappointed with D’Angelo and for him to bring the NXT North American Championship with him to Philly. After listening to the message, D’Angelo told Crusifino and Stacks that he will deal with him next week.

Jordynne Grace Makes Surprise Return on Tuesday’s NXT Show

Tuesday’s NXT show also featured TNA talent Jordynne Grace making her surprise return appearance to WWE’s NXT brand.

Following Zaria’s WWE in-ring debut victory over Brinley Reece, Zaria’s victory celebration was cut short by Fatal Influence who came out from the crowd and stated that Zaria took their spotlight at Halloween Havoc so they will take Zaria’s tonight. This led to Roxanne Perez & Cora Jade interrupting and came out from the stage. Perez said hello to Fatal Influence and stated that they want to welcome Zaria to NXT. Both groups proceed to surround the ring leading to Kelani Jordan running out to be alongside Zaria. This led to Fallon stating that is only two, which led to Stephanie Vaquer’s music playing and her and Giulia running out to the ring. Perez responded stating that is still four on five and they like it. This then led to Grace’s music playing and her making her surprise return and ran out to the ring. After a brief staredown between the two groups in the ring, a mass brawl broke out that ended with Fatal Influence and Perez getting cleared out of the ring and Grace press slamming Perez onto everyone else on the outside.

Nikkita Lyons Revealed as Arianna Rizzo’s Attacker on Tuesday’s NXT Show

Tuesday’s NXT show also featured Nikkita Lyons being revealed as the mystery attacker of Adrianna Rizzo.

During the show, Tony D’Angelo & Rizzo were seen backstage and Rizzo stated that she was heading out to take care of who had attacked her last week.

In a follow-up segment, Rizzo came out to the stage during Lyons match against Kelani Jordan. Following Jordan’s victory, Rizzo rushed to the ring and proceeded to attack Lyons revealing that she was the mystery attacker.

Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, & Raquel Rodriguez Makes Surprise NXT Return on Tuesday’s NXT Show

Tuesday’s NXT show also featured Rhea Ripley and Judgement Day’s Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez making a surprise return appearance in WWE’s NXT brand.

During the show, Kelani Jordan, Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, Zaria, & Jordynne Grace were seen in the women’s locker room taking about their tag team match next week against Fatal Influence, Cora Jade, & Roxanne Perez. This led to Ripley showing up and stated that she heard about the tag match next week. Ripley then offered some words of encouragement stating that the match will be amazing and for them to rip the bloody roof off.

In a follow-up segment, NXT GM Ava, Stevie Turner, and Mr. Stone were seen backstage talking about next week’s show. This led to NXT officials running past them and to the parking lot as Morgan and Raquel walked by them holding baseball bats. NXT officials then ran up to a car revealing a bloody Ripley laid out on the ground.

Tuesday’s NXT show also featured three new matches announced for the card of next week’s show on November 6th at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The first new match announced was a 10-Women Tag Team match of Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, & Jazmyn Nyx), Cora Jade, & Roxanne Perez vs. Zaria, Stephanie Vaquer, Kelani Jordan, Giulia, & Jordynne Grace.

The second new match announced was a tag team match of Bubba Ray Dudley & Trick Williams vs. “All Ego” Ethan Page & Ridge Holland.

The third new match announced was a singles match of Wes Lee vs. Je’Von Evans that was teased to be a potential special guest referee match with RVD as the guest referee.
