Rhea Ripley is walking backstage. She walks through the tunnel to Gorilla Position and walks through the curtain to make her entrance.

Rhea Ripley heads to the ring. She looks very serious.

Video: Nine days ago at WWE Bad Blood, Raquel Rodriguez attacked Rhea Ripley and cost her the Women’s World Championship. This past Friday on Smackdown, Ripley attacked Rodriguez before taking it to Liv Morgan.

Ripley says she is not done with Liv Morgan or Raquel Rodriguez. This doesn’t end until she gets back the one thing she never lost: her Women’s World Championship. If Morgan and Rodriguez are done running, they can come to the ring so she can whoop their asses.

“It’s Tiffy Time.”

Ms. Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton heads to the ring. Stratton says she knows she isn’t who Ripley was expecting. She is here because she has a very important message from the WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax. Jax warns Ripley to stay out of her business, or else she’ll have a big problem. Ripley says she understands Stratton thinks it’s Tiffy Time, but it’s not. Ripley doesn’t have time for this. Either she gets her hands on Morgan or Rodriguez, or she can welcome Stratton back to Raw the Rhea Ripley way.

They get into a shoving match until Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez attack them from behind. Rodriguez slams Stratton down and slings Ripley down before hitting her with a big boot. Morgan grabs the Money in the Bank briefcase and smashes it off Stratton’s back. Morgan and Rodriguez stand tall.

Backstage: Adam Pearce, Rhea Ripley, Tiffany Stratton

Raw General Manager Adam Pearce is texting backstage when Rhea Ripley walks up. Ripley says she wants Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. Pearce says it’s done, but she needs to have a partner. Ripley is not happy. Tiffany Stratton walks up and is upset with her treatment on the show. Pearce stares at Stratton and then looks at Ripley. Ripley sighs and agrees before walking off. Stratton is confused, but Pearce says she’ll figure it out soon enough.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
Damage CTRL (Kairi Sane & IYO SKY) vs. Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill (c)

Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson of NXT are watching from ringside. They failed to take the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship from Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill this past Friday on SmackDown.

Jade Cargill starts against IYO SKY. They lock up, and Cargill powers her down. Sky quickly hooks a side headlock, but Cargill pushes her off. Sky cartwheels around her and hits a dropkick. Cargill stays on her feet and shoulder tackles Sky. Bianca Belair tags in. Belair and Cargill send Sky into the ropes and hit a double-team slam for a two-count. Sky backs to the corner to recover. Belair hits some shoulder thrusts before picking her up and walking around. Sky goes for a roll-up, but Belair powers her up. Kairi Sane blind tags in. Sky sweeps Belair’s feet, and Sane stomps the back. Damage CTRL hits Belair with stereo dropkicks. Sane knocks Cargill off the apron. Sky goes for a baseball slide, but Cargill avoids it and superkicks her. Sane then comes off the top rope with a cross-body block to the floor on Cargill.

We return from the break to see Sky applying a crossface to Belair. Belair rolls her over for a two-count. Sky hits some uppercuts and rolls her up before popping up and hitting a double stomp to the midsection. Sky hooks the arms, but Belair powers her up. Sky flips through and lands on her feet, but Belair quickly takes her down with a spear.

Cargill and Sane tag in. Sane avoids a big boot and connects with a strike combination. Cargill quickly powers her up, but Sane counters into a sleeper hold. Cargill manages to sling her off. Sane gets up in the corner. Cargill charges, but Sane boots her back. Sane goes to the second rope and dives off, but Cargill catches her and hits a backbreaker. Cargill connects with a powerbomb and covers. 1… 2… Sky breaks it up. Belair runs in and throws Sky out of the ring. Belair goes to her corner and tags in. Cargill goes to give Belair a Dominator onto Sane, but Sane moves. Sane gets Cargill out of the ring and tags Sky in. Sky connects with a springboard missile dropkick on Cargill. Sky pops Sane up for an elbow drop on Belair! Sky covers 1… 2…, but Belair kicks out!

Sky steps on Belair and heads to the top rope. Sky goes for an Over the Moonsault, but Cargill pulls Belair out of the ring. Sane leaps off the apron onto Cargill, but Cargill catches her. Cargill and Belair sling Sane into the barricade before getting into Lash Legend’s and Jakara Jackson’s faces. Sky takes out Belair and Cargill with an Asai Moonsault. Sky gets Belair in the ring and yells at Legend and Jakara. They attack Sky. Sky stumbles onto the apron. Belair pulls Sky into the ring in a vertical suplex position, but she transitions into a KOD for the win.

Winner: Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill win Pinfall to retain the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

Damage CTRL is furious with Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson.

Backstage: Judgement Day

World Tag Team Champions Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh walk up to Raw General Manager Adam Pearce. Bálor wants to know when he’ll get a rematch against Damian Priest. Pearce says they have an obligation to the titles they hold. Pearce let them off the hook as Bálor dealt with Damian Priest, but that is over. Pearce is setting up a tournament to determine their next competitors. Pearce walks off.

Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio, and Carlito walk up. Bálor is not happy and walks off. Morgan says they can focus on keeping their championships. Morgan introduces them to Raquel Rodriguez, who walks into the frame. Carlito is blown away by her.

Video: American Made

American Made is shown backstage. Chad Gable defines greatness. Ivy Nile says this is the land of opportunity. Everyone has the opportunity to get their teeth kicked in by these great athletes. Gable says the country needs a hero. It’s his pleasure to let the people know they’ll be that for them. Gable says they will show the world what it means to be American Made.

Bron Breakker says everyone has wondered why he turned his back on Jey Uso. It’s not that complicated. Uso lucked into the biggest lottery of his life when he beat Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship. Out of respect, he came to the ring and shook Uso’s hand before congratulating him. Uso then threw it back in his face as if he would see it. Not once did Uso say he respects Breakker as a man or a champion. Maybe one day, Uso can be the caliber of champion he was, which Uso cannot be. Breakker doesn’t need his family’s help. When he surpasses them in success, he will get respect from his family. That won’t be like Uso. He’s sucked off his family’s legacy for fourteen years. Once his cousin was at the top of the mountain, he wanted to do it on his own. If Uso wants to do it on his own, he’ll take this ass-kicking on his own as well. Breakker is coming back for the Intercontinental Championship. The beautiful thing is Uso’s family cannot save him from Breakker.

Video: Bronson Reed, Adam Pearce

Raw General Manager Adam Pearce met with “Big” Bronson Reed last Saturday. Pearce says he appreciates Reed’s time. Reed says he wants to talk business. Pearce says Reed has made a name for himself in a short amount of time. He’s given everyone a lot of leeway, but what he and Braun Strowman did with referees and fans was over the line. Reed apologizes if his actions crossed the line, but no one could stop him in a match like that. If it weren’t for Seth Rollins, he’d be the Last Monster Standing. When is he getting a match with Rollins? Pearce says he’s not even thinking about that until they’re on the same page. Reed says all the destruction he’s caused has been done to get him to the main event. Isn’t that the sort of ambition Pearce wants from his superstar? Reed wants the spotlight and a match with Rollins to show he’s a top guy in WWE. Pearce doesn’t believe there won’t be any trouble. If they’re on the same page, Pearce will talk to Rollins. Reed says Pearce is a smarter businessman than he thought. Pearce says they’ll talk soon. Reed warns him not to make him wait too long.

WWE World Tag Team Championship #1 Contender Tournament First Round Match
Alpha Academy (Akira Tozawa & Otis) vs. War Raiders (Erik & Ivar)

Alpha Academy heads to the ring. Next, they’ll participate in the World Tag Team Championship Tournament First Round Match. We don’t know who their opponents will be.

Ivar starts against Otis. Ivar boots him in the face. Otis reverses a whip. Ivar rolls over him and cartwheels around him. Otis rolls under a strike and hits a clothesline. Akira Tozawa tags in. Otis whips him into Ivar. Ivar quickly shoves Tozawa off. Erik tags in. Ivar takes Tozawa down, and Erik scoop slams Ivar onto Tozawa. Ivar tags back in. The War Raiders take turns kneeing Tozawa in the face. Erik knocks Otis off the apron. Ivar avalanches Tozawa in the corner, and Erik clotheslines him down. Ivar covers, but Otis breaks it up. Otis takes Erik down and rips his shirt off. Otis goes for a Caterpillar, but Ivar spin kicks him away. Tozawa hits Ivar with a missile dropkick. Ivar pops up. Erik pops Tozawa up, and Ivar hits a powerslam. Erik knees Tozawa in the face. Erik picks Tozawa up and throws him into a diving Ivar’s path for a splash! That is called the Fallout. The War Raiders pick up the win.

Winner: The War Raiders via Pinfall.

Backstage: Seth Rollins, Adam Pearce

Raw General Manager Adam Pearce walks up to Seth “Freakin” Rollins. Rollins asks if he’s got the match with “Big” Bronson Reed. Pearce says he’s apprehensive. Rollins has had six matches this year and has been injured for all of them. Rollins says injuries happen and are part of the game. You fight through them to get to the top. Rollins is there. Upstarts like Reed will try to make a name off your name when you get to that point. Rollins says there is a reason he runs this place and is at the top of the food chain. Reed and Pearce have forgotten that. He’s slayed beasts, conquered kings, and hunting a monster sounds nice. Rollins needs this fight. He needs people like Reed to bring out the best in him. That keeps Rollins sharp and at the top. Reed tried to ruin his life, but he needs this fight. If Pearce wants the best version of Seth Rollins for this show, he needs this fight. Rollins walks off.

In-Ring: Cody Rhodes, Gunther

“Wrestling has more than one royal family.”

Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes makes his way to the ring. Rhodes shakes hands with the fans before shaking hands with Wade Barrett and Joe Tessitore. The crowd gives Rhodes a nice ovation and chants his name. Rhodes shouts a greeting to everyone in attendance. Rhodes says to know where you’re going, you must know where you’ve been. As much as he considers himself the future, he considers himself a sports entertainment traditionalist. Rhodes is happy to be in a city with such rich professional wrestling roots. Whether it was Sam Muchnick at the Kiel Auditorium or right here on Monday Night Raw, it’s history.

There has been some more recent history. Not too long ago, something very special happened in his building, and it genuinely changed his life for the better. A light “We want Cody” chant picks up. Rhodes says that chant was heard for the first time here. Rhodes says someone will call him a politician for doing so, but there’s nothing political about this. Rhodes thanks the crowd for doing that. With that in mind, Rhodes asks, “What do you wanna talk about?”

World Heavyweight Champion Gunther heads to the ring. Gunther is pleased to be in the ring with Rhodes. Gunther says he’d usually come out and dress his opponent down a bit, but there’s not much negative to say about Rhodes. In fact, this company, this business, and this sport are in a boom period like never before, all built off Rhodes’s back. Rhodes makes every town, country, and continent. He’s truly the quarterback of this organization. A “Thank you, Cody” chant picks up. Gunther doesn’t respect many people in the company but respects Rhodes. If Gunther thinks about it, there might be one thing: Rhodes loves being everyone’s darling. Because of that, he’s in a mess with his old friend, Kevin Owens. Owens realizes everybody’s friend is no one’s real friend. Gunther tells Rhodes to sort out his emotional mess because he wants the best version of Cody Rhodes in Saudi Arabia.

Rhodes says what Gunther thinks is his greatest weakness is his greatest strength. Friends do not surround Rhodes. If Rhodes can make an observation from one champion to another, he’s seen what happens when the Ring General throws everything at his opponent, and they keep coming back. Gunther gets uncomfortable. Rhodes has seen it firsthand. He saw it at WrestleMania. Gunther breaks. Rhodes can return some of the things Gunther said about him regarding being a workhorse. Rhodes respects him. Gunther thinks he’s swimming in the deep end, but his feet still touch the bottom. Gunther has never been in the ring with him. Gunther says that was spoken like a true secondary champion. Rhodes says he was expecting the dig. This is Gunther’s house. Gunther has become a frightening beast. Rhodes warns him not to forget that he beat the most dominating champion in company history and has already slain a frightening beast. Rhodes drops the microphone and looks for a handshake. Gunther shakes his hand and wishes him luck. Gunther walks off.

Video: New Day

Video: Last week on Raw, Jey Uso defeated Xavier Woods to retain his Intercontinental Championship. Woods refused to shake Uso’s hand. Bron Breakker attacked Uso from behind. Kofi Kingston tried to help, but Woods didn’t want him to help. Breakker took out Kingston and Woods as well. Later that night, the tension continued between Kingston and Woods.

Dragon Lee says his journey in WWE hasn’t been easy, but he’s becoming stronger, wiser, and better than before. He’s capable of exceeding his greatest expectations. His heroes look at him as an equal. Lee says he belongs. The sky is his limit. Dragon Lee is destined to thrive.

Kofi Kingston vs. Bron Breakker

The bell rings, and Kingston dropkicks him to the corner. Kingston punches away at Breakker before being backed up. Kingston breaks away from the referee and avalanches Breakker. Kingston hits the ropes, but Breakker shoulder tackles him down. Breakker looks irate. Breakker whips Kingston hard into the corner sternum-first. Breakker lifts Kingston and puts him in the corner. Breakker punches him hard in the midsection. Kingston stumbles to the opposite corner. Breakker hits a hard Irish whip to the opposite corner, and Kingston collapses to the mat. Breakker goes for another whip to the corner, but Kingston springboards off the middle rope for a dropkick. Kingston drops down and leapfrogs him, but Breakker quickly runs him over with a shoulder tackle. Breakker shoves him out of the ring and poses.

Back from the break, Breakker is applying a rear chin lock. Kingston fights up and punches out. Breakker grabs him by the hair and punches him in the back of the head. Breakker charges, but Kingston sidesteps him. Breakker hits the ring post with his shoulder. Breakker slowly gets up, and Kingston hits him with a pair of chops, followed by a dropkick that takes him down. Breakker avoids a leaping clothesline and goes for an attack, but Kingston gets away. Kingston comes off the top rope with a springboard cross-body block for a one-count. Kingston kicks Breakker in the chest and hits a Boom Drop. Kingston holds his ribs in pain and signals for a big move. Breakker avoids Trouble in Paradise. Kingston flips through a German Suplex and hits an SOS for a near fall.

Kingston pulls Breakker up, but Breakker backs him to the corner and shoulders him a few times. The referee admonishes him, so Breakker shouts back. Kingston stuns Breakker with a pendulum kick in the corner. Kingston comes off the top rope, but Breakker catches him and hits an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Breakker pulls the straps down and hits the ropes hard for a massive Spear to pick up the win.

Winner: Bron Breakker via Pinfall.

Bron Breakker goes to pick the bones of Kofi Kingston after the match, but Xavier Woods runs down. Breakker backs off and leaves. Woods checks on Kingston before Breakker attacks him from behind. WWE Intercontinental Champion Jey Uso runs down and superkicks Breakker. Uso hits the ropes and hits Breakker with a Spear. Uso stands tall in the ring as Breakker retreats up the aisleway. Uso checks on Kingston before running over to superkick Breakker off the apron. Uso lets out a big “YEET” before celebrating with Kingston. Woods isn’t keen on celebrating.

Backstage: Terror Twins

Rhea Ripley is warming up backstage when Damian Priest walks in. Priest asks if she wants him out there. Ripley says she’s fine. She asks Priest if he’s thought about what they talked about. Priest says he’s thought about it. Ripley says he’s run through everyone and took care of Finn Bálor. It’s time for him to get back his title. Priest says if she has a beef with the Judgment Day, he has a beef with them. She is right, though. It’s time for him to get back to being champion. They embrace. Priest tells her to handle those girls.

Backstage: Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso

WWE Intercontinental Champion “Main Event” Jey Uso is walking backstage. Uso enters his locker room to see his brother, Jimmy Uso, sitting there. Jimmy asks for a second, but Jey walks off on him. They fought at WrestleMania.

R-Truth vs. The Miz

The bell rings, and R-Truth gets the crowd going. R-Truth looks for a handshake, but Miz stares at him. Miz shakes hands with him, and R-Truth dances. They circle the ring…

…and the screen glitches with the Wyatt Sicks logo. The Final Testament then makes their way to ringside. R-Truth uses the distraction to roll Miz up for the win.

Winner: R-Truth via Pinfall.

R-Truth hugs Miz and the referee in celebration. R-Truth rolls out of the ring. Karrion Kross fist-bumps him before getting serious and telling the Authors of Pain to get him right now. AOP shoves R-Truth into the ring. Miz hits R-Truth with a Skull Crushing Finale. Miz looks irate over the loss. Miz then looks over at the Final Testament. Miz turns away from them and doesn’t do anymore.

Backstage: Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso

Jimmy Uso is looking around for his brother. He finds Jey Uso. Jey does not want to hear him out. Jey sneers at him and says, “Get out of my face, man.” Jey walks off, and Jimmy is not happy.

Rhea Ripley & Tiffany Stratton vs. Judgement Day (Raquel Rodriguez & Liv Morgan)

Rhea Ripley will start against Liv Morgan. Morgan ducks a lock up and slaps her in the face. Ripley blocks a strike and head-butts Morgan in the chest. Ripley slams Morgan on her face before hitting a basement dropkick. Ripley stares at Raquel Rodriguez before charging Morgan, but Morgan moves. Ripley grabs Morgan and lifts her for a slam, but Morgan slides off and quickly tags Rodriguez.

Rodriguez slowly gets in the ring and stares at Ripley. They circle the ring, and Tiffany Stratton blind tags in. Ripley is not happy. Stratton does some handsprings and a kip-up. Rodriguez grabs her, but Stratton quickly gets her out of the ring. Ripley goes to attack Rodriguez, but Stratton stops her. Stratton says Ripley is not legal. Morgan tags in, and Rodriguez powerbombs her over the top rope onto Ripley and Stratton!

Back from the final break of the evening, Morgan hits Stratton with a vertical suplex and a basement dropkick for a two-count. Morgan shoves Stratton to the corner and stomps away at her. Morgan digs her foot into Stratton’s neck and tags Rodriguez in. Rodriguez whips Morgan into Stratton. Morgan then whips Rodriguez into Stratton. Rodriguez hits a vertical suplex for a two-count. Rodriguez punches Stratton down. Ripley is disgusted with Stratton’s performance. Rodriguez punches Stratton down and hits a backbreaker. Rodriguez stretches Stratton out over her knee. Stratton knees Rodriguez in the head to get out, but Rodriguez soon takes her down. Rodriguez knees her in the face for another two-count. Stratton gets out of a slam and goes for a tag. Somehow, she misses.

Ripley and Morgan finally tag in. Ripley takes it to Morgan with strikes and a clothesline. Ripley knocks Rodriguez off the apron. Morgan hits a jawbreaker and goes for a springboard, but Ripley catches her and flapjacks her. Ripley knees her in the face and hits the Riptide. 1… 2… Rodriguez breaks up the pin. Ripley gets Rodriguez out of the ring. Ripley tags Stratton in and goes back to attacking Rodriguez at ringside. Stratton goes for the Prettiest Moonsault Ever, but Morgan moves. Ripley goes for a Riptide on Rodriguez at ringside, but WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax attacks her from behind.

Winner: Rhea Ripley & Tiffany Stratton via Disqualification.

Jax sends Rodriguez into the ring post and gets in the ring to check on Stratton. Ripley gets in the ring and head-butts Jax. Ripley lifts Jax, but Morgan chop blocks the knee. Morgan attacks Ripley and clubs away at her. Jax grabs Morgan and head-butts her before hitting a Samoan Drop. Jax hits the ropes and hits a leg drop on Morgan. Jax pulls Morgan to the corner and climbs to the second rope for an Annihilator!

Jax tells Stratton to cash in her Money in the Bank contract on Morgan. Before it can happen, “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio runs down and pulls Morgan out of the ring. Mysterio, Morgan, and Rodriguez retreat up the aisleway.
