Swerve Strickland Return, Willow Nightingale vs. Mariah May for AEW Women’s Title, & Hangman Page vs. Jay White Set for AEW WrestleDream 2024

Tuesday’s AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday 2024 show in Spokane, Washington featured two new matches announced for the card of AEW WrestleDream 2024, which takes place on October 12th at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington.

The first new match announced was an AEW Women’s World Championship match of Willow Nightingale vs. “The Glamour” Mariah May (c).

This match was setup following Nightingale defeating Saraya, Jamie Hayter, and Nyla Rose in a #1 Contender Four-way match for the AEW Women’s World title.

The second new match announced was a singles match of Hangman Adam Page vs. Jay White.

This match was setup following White’s promo segment on the show. Following his victory over Cody Chunn, White grabbed a microphone and talked about his and the Juice Robinson’s recent bad blood issues with Page. White then issued a challenge to Page for a match at WrestleDream. In a follow-up segment, this match was made official for the show.

Besides the new matches, it was also announced that Swerve Strickland will be making his return appearance at WrestleDream.

This was setup following a video package during the show about what Strickland has been doing since his absence after this past September’s All Out 2024 and revealed Strickland will be returning at WrestleDream.
