Jake Roberts Comments on His Potential Return to AEW & Lance Archer Not Being Used to His Full Potential
A recent episode of The Wrestling Classics’ Casual Conversations with The Classic podcast featured WWE Hall of Famer Jake “The Snake” Roberts as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Roberts thoughts about his current absence from AEW and confirmed that he is still under contract with the company.
“It’s still going well, I’m still there. We’re just not doing much.”
Roberts also gave his thoughts about if he feels that AEW has used Lance Archer to his full potential.
“Oh god no. No, they haven’t man. He can do so much, he’s probably the best big man in the business.”
Roberts also gave his thoughts about if fans will see him back in AEW anytime soon.
“Oh yeah. Yeah.”
Roberts also provided an update on his current health situation.
“I feel good. I’m having to occasionally go on oxygen. You know, I’m 69 years old. If someone would have told me that I lived to 69, I would’ve laughed at them, because I’ve been pretty rough on myself. Partied hard for about 25 years and I really abused my body, my soul, and my mind. But, I’ve been sober now for twelve years. Nothing, no drugs, no alcohol, and just trying to enjoy life. I’m doing it.”
