RAW will remain as a two-hour show for the remainder of this year as part of WWE’s terms with USA Network for a new deal for the network to be the Fall home of their RAW series until RAW moves to Netflix in January of 2025.

CM Punk Announces He’s Taking Break from WWE on Monday’s RAW Show

Monday’s WWE RAW show featured CM Punk announcing that he is going on a break from WWE and wrestling for an uncertain amount of time.

During the show, CM Punk came out bandaged up and limping to the stage with a microphone in his hand. Punk talked about being in St. Louis tonight and stated that he will not make it all the way to the ring due to how banged up he is following his Hell in a Cell match. Punk stated that it hurts to smile but he had to come here and see the crowd. After some more words, Punk stated that the way that Hell in a Cell match made him feel leaves him with a lot of questions. Punk stated that he does not know what the future holds for him and he told them that he had zero Hell in a Cell matches left in him and he was right. Punk then stated that he’s banged up worse than any time in his life. Punk stated that as much as he loves the crowd, he just doesn’t know about his future.

Punk then stated that he wanted to thank three groups of people. The first being his fans, specifically the “ride of die” fans who make the signs and chanted his name for seven years before he came back to wrestling and waited another three years until he came back home. Punk then stated that the second being his peers in front of the camera and behind it. Punk then stated that the third being everyone who don’t like him at all. Punk stated that there is a thin line between love and hate and he turned their hate into money and thanked them.

Punk then turned his attention towards his family and talked about about how he hasn’t seen his wife in five weeks so he has to buy a lot of flowers. Punk stated that he isn’t sure when he’ll see them next and thanked the fans one last time.

This led to Seth Rollins’ music playing to interrupt and Rolling coming out to the stage for a face-to-face confrontation before Rollins walked away and made his way to the ring.

Seth Rollins Explains His Return Attack to Bronson Reed & Challenges Reed to Future Match

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured Seth Rollins explaining his reason for returning on last week’s show and attacking Bronson Reed.

During the show, Rollins came out to the ring and talked about him wishing CM Punk to get well soon after his announcement of him going away for the time being. Rollins stated that the sooner Punk gets back, the sooner he can kick Punk’s ass and retire him for good.

Rollins then turned his attention towards the crowd and welcomed them to Monday Night Rollins. Rollins then talked about how things have gone crazy while he was gone and brought up Dominik Mysterio hanging from a shark cage and the “Final Boss” The Rock being back at Bad Blood. Rhodes also stated that heel must have frozen over because Cody Rhodes teamed up with Roman Reigns and later got punched in the mouth by Kevin Owens.

After some more words, Rollins turned his attention towards Reed and stated that he is here to destroy Reed. Rollins stated that Reed isn’t here tonight but he knows Reed is watching. Rollins told the cameraman to get close and for Reed to listen closely. Rollins stated that two months ago, Reed ambushed him and tried to end his career for what? To make a name for himself? Rollins responded stating congratulations, six Tsunamis later and I know your dam name. Rollins stated that if “big boy” wants to get famous, he will give Reed his 15 minutes of fame. Rollins then issued a challenge to Reed for a match and for Reed to name the time and place but this time he will be expecting him.

Ethan Page Makes RAW Brand Debut Appearance on Monday’s RAW Show

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured NXT talent “All Ego” Ethan Page making his official on-screen RAW brand debut.

During the show, NXT General Manager Ava was seen in RAW GM Adam Pearce’s office. The two were talking about this Tuesday’s NXT show before being interrupted by Page who walked in. Page introduced himself to Pearce and stated that he came to St. Louis to meet with him to talk about CM Punk costing him his NXT Championship last week. Page stated that he wants to get back on course which led to Pearce responding stating that he wasn’t the one who made Punk the special guest referee for his match last week and that was Ava instead. Ava responded back stating that she is off the clock and can’t help him leading to an upset Page asking why she is even here then? This led to Sexxy Red showing up and chatting with Ava before being interrupted by Page. This led to some brief insults banter between Red and Page before Page walked away upset.
