Darby Allin vs. Brody King Set for AEW WrestleDream 2024

Saturday’s AEW Collision show featured two new matches and one updated match announced for AEW’s WrestleDream 2024 event, which takes place on October 12th at the Tacoma Arena in Tacoma, Washington.

The two new matches announced were an AEW World Tag Team Championship match of Private Party vs. The Young Bucks (c) and an AEW Women’s World Championship match of Winner of Britt Baker/Willow Nightingale vs. “The Glamour” Mariah May (c).

In regards to the updated match, this was announced to be a singles match of Darby Allin vs. Brody King.

This match was initially setup following Allin issuing an open challenge to anyone in AEW for WrestleDream 2024 during this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite 5 Year Anniversary Show in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

During Saturday’s taped Collision show, Allin issued his open challenge again which led to Brody King coming out and attacked Allin. King continued his attack and accepted Allin’s challenge as he held up Allin in the air.
