DDT Pro Announced Kota Ibushi Pulled from Their Upcoming Oct. 17th & Oct. 20th Events

DDT Pro Wrestling announced earlier today that they have pulled Kota Ibushi from their upcoming October 17th event in Taito City and October 20th event in Tokyo, Japan.

The reason for Ibushi’s removal from both upcoming events was not disclosed.

“Announcement of Kota Ibushi’s absence

Ibushi was scheduled to appear at the Ueno event on October 17th and the Korakuen event on the 20th, but will be absent from these two events. We would like to offer our deepest apologies to everyone who was looking forward to Ibushi’s matches. We will provide refunds to customers who wish to do so.”


First Two Matches Announced for NJPW x Stardom Historic X-Over II

New Japan Pro Wrestling and Stardom announced the first two matches for their co-promoted NJPW x Stardom Historic X-Over II event, which takes place on November 17th at the EDION Arena Osaka in Osaka, Japan.

The first new match announced was a tag team match of Zack Sabre Jr. & Maika vs. El Desperado & Starlight Kid.

The second new match announced was a NJPW Provisional King of Pro Wrestling 2024 Open Challenge match of mystery opponent vs. Great-O-Khan (c).

Current card for November 17th NJPW x Stardom Historic X-Over II:

  • NJPW Provisional King of Pro Wrestling 2024 Open Challenge match – mystery opponent vs. Great-O-Khan (c)
  • Zack Sabre Jr. & Maika vs. El Desperado & Starlight Kid

Xia Zhao Pulled from Oct. 6th TJPW All Rise 2024 Event Over Visa

Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling announced that they have pulled Xia Zhoa, former Xia Li in WWE and current Lei Ying Lee in TNA, from their All Rise 2024 event this Sunday in Tokyo, Japan due to a visa-related issue.

It was announced that they had tried to resolve the issue but were not able to do so in time for their event.

Prior to her removal, Zhao had been schedueld to compete in a double championship match against Yuki Kamifuku for the Queen of Asia and VPW Championships.
