Variety reported that their sources stated that AEW recently signed a new multi-year media rights deal with Warner Bros Discovery.
It was reported that AEW’s new deal is worth around $150 million per year and includes AEW Dynamite and Collision shows remaining on TBS and TNT.
It was also reported that AEW Dynamite and Collision shows will also be airing live on simulcast on MAX starting in January of 2025.
In regards to AEW pay-per-view events, it was also reported that AEW events will air on MAX later in 2025 at a reduced price per event compared to other AEW PPV providers.
In an interview with Variety, AEW CEO Tony Khan commented about AEW’s new media rights deal with WBD.

This extension continues the tradition of iconic wrestling events broadcast on TBS and TNT, while also establishing a new legacy for AEW through weekly live streams on Max for years to come.
