CM Punk Promises to Make Drew McIntyre Bleed at WWE Bad Blood 2024 & Teases Potential End of Himself

Monday’s WWE RAW show in Portland, Oregon featured CM Punk promising to make Drew McIntyre bleed during their Hell in a Cell match at WWE’s Bad Blood 2024 event later this month.

During the show, CM Punk was seen arriving in the parking garage and parked his car. Punk then made his way through backstage and came out to the ring. An angry looking Punk grabbed a microphone and stated that he is at the point in his career where sometimes people ask him how many matches he has left in his old bones. Punk stated that depending on how you feel about him, the answer is either wildly disappointing or it makes you tremendously happy because the answer is way more than you think. Punk then turned his attention towards McIntyre and stated that when he came back to WWE, he said he was not here to make friends but that does not mean he came here to make a mortal enemy. Punk stated that is what he has done and the only way to end it between himself and Drew is in a Hell in a Cell. After some more words, Punk asked the question of how many Hell in a Cell matches he has left in his career and his family not wanting him to go through with the match. Punk then answered his own question stating that his honest answer is “zero.”

Punk then talked about the last time he told Drew if you push me far enough, I will become the devil himself. Punk stated that the devil is here and the devil in his heart tells him the only way this ends is in Hell in a Cell. Punk stated that this same heart Drew said he will get to stop beating. Punk then stated that he can’t promise that he will kill Drew because he won’t make promises he 100% can not deliver on. Punk stated that he promises he will make Drew bleed and Drew will have to kill him because he is prepare to die, prepared for this heart to stop beating, and prepared for all of this to be over. Punk stated that if this is the end, so be it. Punk stated that he is prepared for this to be teh end of CM Punk but then questioned if Drew is prepared for this to be the end of Drew McIntyre. Punk then stated he will see Drew in hell before dropping his microphone and leaving the ring.

Xavier Woods Grows More Frustrated with Kofi Kingston & Teases Potential Split from New Day

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured Xavier Woods teasing more growing frustration with Kofi Kingston & potential split from New Day.

Near the end of the WWE World Tag Team Championship match between New Day and Judgement Day, Judgement Day’s Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio, & Carlito ran out trying to interfere only to be stopped by the LWO who quickly ran out to foil their plans. This led to Kingston going to the top rope and hitting a Trust Fall to everyone on the outside. While the referee was distracted and dealing with the stuff going on outside, Woods hit a diving elbow drop to McDonagh and followed it with a pinfall cover but no referee around to count it. This led to a furious Woods leaving the ring and yelled at the referee to get back into the ring. Woods then got back into the ring only to get grabbed and held down by McDonagh after Balor did a blind tag. Balor then went to the top rope and hit a Coup De Grace for the pinfall victory.

Following the match, Kingston tried to help up Woods who shrugged him off and yelled at Kingston over their loss. Woods stated that he was tired of this and left the ring while Kingston looked on puzzled over Woods’ actions.

In a follow-up segment, Cathy Kelly attempted to get a backstage interview with Kingston who responded stating that this was not the time. Kingston then overheard some commotion which was revealed to be Woods berating the LWO backstage and blaming them for his loss. Kingston responded stating that he had asked the LWO to have their backs and fend off the numbers game from Judgement Day. Woods responded with an angry reaction and stated he was upset that Kingston made that decision on his own. Kingston stated that they didn’t need the help before because they had Big E. Woods responded stating if Kingston thinks he isn’t good enough, then why does LWO know the plan for the title match but he is left in the dark? Woods stated that he doesn’t know what is going on anymore and angrily walked away.
