Travel Issues Affecting Several AEW Talent Ahead of 8/7 Dynamite Show

Tropical storm Debby is currently affecting parts of the United States’ East Coast including North Carolina, which is the home state of tonight’s AEW Dynamite show in Winston-Salem.

MJF had revealed on Tuesday that all flights to North Carolina had been cancelled and he would be traveling by car in order to be able to make his scheduled appearance on tonight’s show.

AEW CEO Tony Khan provided an update earlier today on Twitter stating that several AEW talents are currently dealing with travel related issues and as a result, he held back on making more announcements for the card of tonight’s show due to anticipating this problem. Khan also stated that everyone who was previously announced are on route to the show and will be making their scheduled appearances.

With flight cancellations, several AEW wrestlers are struggling to get to #AEWDynamite tonight!

Besides the previously announced matches, Khan had also recently announced one new match for the card of tonight’s show.

This new match announced was a singles match of Mariah May vs. Viva Van.
