Jordynne Grace Teases Big Surprises for TNA Slammiversary 2024

Sports Illustrated held a recent interview with TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace. One of the topics discussed included Grace teasing that there will be big surprises for TNA Wrestling’s Slammiversary 2024 event this Saturday in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

“The surprises are going to be even bigger than people realize. TNA and NXT do surprises better than any other promotion. I don’t think anyone can argue that. If you’re tired of accidentally reading spoilers, watch Slammiversary. Our goal is to make fans fall back in love with wrestling.”

Grace also gave her thoughts about being hopeful that TNA’s working relationship with WWE will lead to a Worlds Collide event between NXT and TNA.

“I’ve mentioned this before–my big dream is to have a Worlds Collide pay-per-view. I think that’s going to be a slow build. And the world probably isn’t ready, but when it happens, they’re going to see TNA beat NXT.”

NJPW Announces New IWGP Committee

New Japan Pro Wrestling held a press conference earlier today to promote their upcoming G1 Climax 2024 tournament. One of the topics discussed included NJPW President Hiroshi Tanahashi officially revealing the members for the new IWGP committee.

The G1 Climax 34 press conference saw the announcement of the restructured IWGP committee, which overseas the tournaments and championship matches in NJPW.

Hiroshi Tanahashi introduced the members as ‘committed fully to wrestlers and officials, and the operation of championship matches and tournaments in NJPW’

CMLL Announces Kyle Fletcher for Team World for CMLL Grand Prix 2024

Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre recently announced that AEW and Ring of Honor talent Kyle Fletcher will be making an appearance for the company at their Grand Prix 2024 event on August 23rd at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico.
