AEW: AEW Gives Daniel Garcia “Injury” Update Following 7/3 Dynamite Show, Adam Cole Ankle Injury Update, Ethan Page on AEW Being “Chaotic & Unorganized”

AEW Gives “Injury” Update for Daniel Garcia Following July 3rd Dynamite Beach Break 2024 Show

As noted before, this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynanite Beach Break 2024 show in Chicago, Illinois featured MJF turning heel on Daniels Garcia and attacked and bloodied him up following Garcia’s loss to Will Ospreay for the AEW International Championship.

AEW provided an “injury” update for Garcia stating that he had suffered cervical injuries resulting from MJF’s attack and is still under medical observation.

Adam Cole Ankle Injury Status Update

As noted before, Adam Cole has been out of action for AEW since this past September due to an ankle injury.

Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources stated that due to the complexity of Cole’s injury, there is still some time left for his recovery. Cole reportedly is currently hopeful that he will not be out of action for that much longer.

Meltzer reported that Cole is currently able to walk on his own which means he’s on track with his recovery.

Ethan Page Comments on AEW Being “Chaotic and Unorganized” Compared to NXT Being a “Machine”

A recent episode of the Talk’n’Shop podcast featured former AEW talent “All Ego” Ethan Page as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Page’s thoughts about the differences working in AEW compared to his current career in WWE’s NXT brand.

“Pretty crazy. I went from somewhere that was so chaotic and unorganized to a place that, I mean I’m still learning because I’m still so new here, but this is a machine and it’s incredible. It feels good to not feel like I have to do everything myself. To have people that want to see me succeed is kind of mind blowing.

I’m seventeen years in, I still feel like — I don’t want to say the word green, but like, I’ve essentially had to do everything myself. I pretty much taught myself how to wrestle and now I’m like, oh, there’s geniuses here all day that I can be like, ‘Does this suck? Okay, well tell me how to do it better,’ and they will.”
